We produce vented cylinders traditionally in copper and more recently in stainless steel as this is still the largest part of the UK cylinder market. However, with the growth in mains pressure unvented hot water cylinders we have also added a very successful stainless steel product portfolio under the Stainless Lite brand which has taken the market by storm over the last few years. As a privately owned company we are in business for the long term and our ambition is to be recognised as the ‘UK cylinder specialist and first choice supplier to the merchant trade’.

Word Heat Cylinders were establishing in 2008 in the wake of the closures of highly specialized hot water cylinder manufacturers Manchester Coppersmiths and Manchester Calorifiers by a large PLC who acquired both businesses. Since opening we have established ourselves as the specialist cylinder manufacturer in the UK, manufacturing vessels from stainless steel, copper and mild steel up to 8000 litres in capacity. All of our products are designed, manufactured and tested in our purpose built factory in Manchester. Our products are WRAS approved, CE marked and manufactured to be pressure equipment directive compliant.
