A fully automated solution cannot manage without reliable automatic feeding and sorting equipment. In this area we cooperate with well-known manufacturers of vibration and handling elements. The automatic and semi-automatic solutions can also include camera sensors or smart cameras.

Attachments from KAUP are not only "The helping hands of your forklift truck". They can also be "the helping hands of your automated guided vehicle", significantly expanding the application possibilities of the innovative automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Whether integrated sideshift, bale clamp or telescopic forks: a wide variety of attachments from the KAUP product range can be integrated into AGVs. It does not matter whether the attachment is electronically or hydraulically operated. As with forklift trucks, KAUP also works with all manufacturers of automated guided vehicles.

The here and now is electric. This is not exclusively true for cars and industrial trucks of various kinds. Even attachments for automated guided vehicle systems, forklift trucks or pedestrian stackers are now electrically powered. With the e-op series, KAUP has electrified the most important implement functions and its range includes Sideshifter, Fork Positioner, Rotator and Double Pallet Handler with electronic drives for a wide variety of material handling tasks.

The ‚Smart Load Control‘ (SLC) system regulates, as the only one on the market, the clamping force on appliance-/carton clamps exclusively load dependent and not load pattern dependent. The weight is decisive for the flexible definition of the clamping force - not the dimensions of the load. The aim of the system is to ensure that only as much clamping force as really necessary acts on the load.

The HS flex family was developed with the goal of "maximum productivity". Ergonomic aspects were completely redesigned, however, to allow for fast and fatigue-free working for operators and service personnel in every possible working situation. The HS flex handling system can be adapted to six different HERMLE machining centers. With a transport weight of up to 450 kg incl. plate and a storage volume of up to 50 plate positions, the HS flex covers a wide range of applications.

The RS 1 robot system is a fully fledged combination cell for pallet and workpiece automation. The robot operates fully automatically, and can flexibly grip, clamp and store workpieces up to 15 kg and pallets up to 60 kg. The RS 1 guarantees process-secure production round the clock, whilst winning customers over with maximum flexibility and productivity! The rack storage concept makes for an unusually high degree of autonomous running; gripper and device changing is fully automatic and the fully functional setup station allows for pallets, workpiece carriers and workpieces to be set up in parallel with the main operation. This means that the RS 1 can be used as an automation solution for very diverse machining tasks.

Junction systems are used anywhere sensor and actor signals need to be extended quickly and easly for connection to their superordinate control systems. Individual signals are either connected directly to the superordinate system via a homerun cable or via a connection interface. Optional LED displays for signal and power reduce the effort required to track down errors.

Hoppers and belts are the most important part of a production line. Metalworking companies are increasingly looking for practical solutions on how to quickly and easily carry out welding tasks. For small quantities, however, automation systems for welding have so far been difficult to implement, from an economical point of view. At the same time, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find qualified welders for manual processing. OTC DAIHEN EUROPE has developed EASY ARC, a new mobile welding robot system for workshop operation, which meets the economic and pragmatic requirements. EASY ARC includes a compact welding robot with intuitive OTC Easy-Teach control, which offers the operator with the perfect weld seam, thanks to the integrated expert system and manufacturer’s own 400A MIG / MAG power source inverter. The robot is mounted on a welding table that is prepared for holding standard clamping elements and equipped with rollers. The simple conversion of the system thus ensures appropriate flexibility in production.

The ESX-IOXp is a small, compact and freely-programmable control unit from the 16-bit control unit family. Due to its compact construction, it mainly facilitates the automation of small machines and attachment devices. The control unit can be used optionally with four LS outputs for the realization of motor bridges and with four PVG outputs. It features an XC2287 processor with 80 MHz by Infineon and 768-kB Flash, 1-MB-RAM- and 8-kB EEPROM memory. Software The application software for the ESX-IOXp can be created highly efficiently either in "C" or in CODESYS V2.3 IEC61131. In the programming interface, numerous convenient functions such as current controllers and ramp functions for outputs or frequency averaging for inputs are integrated.
