Designed to fit into 6” pipelines and higher, the CP160CR constant potential X-Ray generator for crawlers is – in its category – the most powerful panoramic X-Ray tube head in the world for crawlers. The generator is making the cutting edge constant potential technology of the CPSERIES even more compact into a 9.9 kg – 120 mm diameter X-Ray tube head. The crawler unit is capable of penetrating up to 28 mm of steel in 10 minutes, which corresponds to just a 25 second exposure time for 6” standard pipeline welds.

The CP300C is the first panoramic x-ray generator of the CPSeries product range. Equipped with a metal-ceramic tube, the CP300C is a light (less than 30kg) and powerful generator (300 kV), able to penetrate up to 52mm of steel in 10 minutes, making it the best power-to-weight ratio in the world. The efficiency of the CP300C is also maximum thanks to its real 100% duty cycle that allows longer exposure time (> one hour). A full range of accessories is available (holding bars, tripod…) and even a 60°x40° lead diaphragm to convert the CP300C into a directional unit. Like the rest of the CPSeries product range, the CP300C operates with the plug-and-play POWERBOX control unit.

Teledyne ICM’s CPSERIES has been designed with a view to revolutionizing the handling and performances of portable X-Ray sets. Despite having managed to halve the weight of similar portable X-Ray generators available on the market (while continuing to provide the same power output), the SITEX CPSERIES generators feature a shutter, a laser pointer, a beryllium window, an aluminum filter and two integrated diaphragms (customized sizes are available upon request). The CP160D is the lightest and most compact generator of the CPSERIES. Featuring a built-in Beryllium window, it is the perfect generator for the inspection of light alloys such as aluminum, magnesium or fiber based materials like glass and carbon, as well as the greater thickness of steel. In fact, with its penetration capacity that is capable of reaching up to 37 mm of steel, the CP160D is able to execute many different types of NDT tasks without the need to ever have to add extra accessories.

The small focal spot (1 mm) of the CP200DS generator minimizes un-sharpness and gives clearer images, which makes it ideal for digital radiography (DR) when close X-ray shots are possible. Our CP200DS is a light and powerful generator (200 kV) with a metal-ceramic tube which turns it to be the best power-to-weight ratio in the world. Its 100% duty cycle combined to its built-in multiple X-Ray outputs carousel make the CP200DS one of the most versatile generators on the market that will adapt to a very wide variety of NDT applications. Being just 20 mm longer than the CP160D, the CP200D represents the best compromise between high penetration (up to 42 mm for steel) and the capacity of the generator to fit with various NDT applications, such as inspections of more technical materials in the aeronautical or space industries. The CP200D is one of the most versatile generators on the market and thanks to its built-in multiple X-Ray output carrousel it will adapt to a very wide variety of NDT applications, without compromising in any manner its light weight (12 kg) and ease of use.

The CP300DM is a constant potential portable generator with a duty cycle of 100% in 30°. Its metal-ceramic tube makes this generator the robust partner you need for your digital radiography inspections. With its high output voltage range (up to 300 kV), the CP300DM has a steel penetration of 66 mm and will adapt to a wide range of NDT applications. Like the other CPSERIES generators, it features a build-in carrousel with 5 output positions and operates with the plug-and-play POWERBOX control unit.

The CP300DS is the perfect tool for digital radiography. Its small focal spot generates sharper and clearer images which will enable you to accurately detect the slightest defect during your NDT inspections. Cane sugar is produced by means of technologies rather similar to those used in a beet sugar plant that are also fully mastered by DSEC. Sugar cane is however a totally different plant compared to sugar beet: whereas sugar beet is sowed and can be harvested after +/- 6 months, cane takes longer to grow but grows back after it has been cut and can therefore be harvested several consecutive years (4 to 6) before being replanted. Cane can be cut either manually or mechanically before being directly processed in the mill. Cane plantation location in relation of the plant is of paramount importance so as to reduce sugar losses by the degradation of the plant after cutting as well as to minimize logistic costs. DSEC will select the most appropriate methodology for extracting the juice from the cane after its first shredding. The extraction operation will be performed using mill tandem or cane diffusion while additional mills will press the residual solid (bagasse) in order to increase its fiber content while additional mills will press the residual solid (bagasse) in order to increase its fiber content. Pressed bagasse will be used as fuel for the plant combined heat and power generation that will generally export electricity on the public grid. The choice between mill tandem and diffuser will be highly dependent on plant capacity, cane characteristics, expected extraction performances and plant general concept.
