In-Sight 2000C series vision sensors combine the power of an In-Sight vision system with the simplicity and affordability of a vision sensor. Ideal for solving error-proofing applications (monochrome or color), these vision sensors set new standards for value, ease of use and flexibility thanks to a powerful combination of proven In-Sight vision tools, a simple setup, and a modular design featuring field-changeable lighting and optics. Together with the In-Sight Explorer EasyBuilder interface, which provides a fast, step-by-step application setup, these vision sensors allow even novice users to achieve extremely reliable inspection performance in nearly any production environment. In-Sight 2000 series vision sensors can also be configured for in-line and right-angle mounting installation. This modular body design provides maximum flexibility to mount in tight spaces, allows for customized wiring and optical paths, and minimizes the need to design new mechanical fixtures.

The operation of the colorSENSOR CFO controller requires sensors which are used at the measuring point. Depending on the measurement task, the sensors can be individually combined. Moreover, these high-quality sensors with glass fiber optics are characterized by small installation dimensions and robust materials. This makes them particularly suitable for mechanical stress and harsh ambient conditions such as high temperatures. Since the sensor head requires only little space, the sensor can also be used in confined conditions.

The colorSENSOR CFO is a new controller for precise color recognition in industrial measurement tasks. The CFO series is distinguished by high color accuracy, state-of-the-art interfaces and intuitive operation. The controller is connected to CFS sensors with integrated optical fibers, which can be adapted for different measurement tasks. The colorSENSOR CFO is used in color recognition tasks on interior parts such as head supports, in packaging control or in color sorting tasks with crown caps, closures or labels.

In addition to pure color measurements, intensity measurements, completeness and presence checks or the evaluation of surface properties are also possible with the color sensors from Micro-Epsilon. These powerful colorSENSOR CFO sensors enable 100% control in demanding, industrial measurement tasks and provide precise measurement results.

colorSENSOR OT sensors are fixed lens sensors with True Color detection. The sensor is equipped with a special illumination and optical system in order to perfom relative color measurements reliably even from a large distance. Apart from the optics, the models hardly differ from each other. The illumination can be disabled by software. OT sensors are also suitable for the color detection of self-luminous sources.

The colorSENSOR CFO is a new controller for precise color detection in industrial measurement tasks. The CFO series is characterized by high color accuracy, modern interfaces and intuitive operation. CFS sensors with integrated fiber optics are connected to the controller, which can be adapted for different measurement tasks. The colorSENSOR CFO is used for color detection on interior parts such as headrests, packaging inspection or sorting by color of crown caps, closures or labels. The colorSENSOR replaces the models of the LT series.

The colorCONTROL MFA is used for flexible color inspections and intensity testing of LEDs, displays and colored objects. The flexible positioning of the sensors in relation to the objects, as well as their high repeatability, measuring rates and dynamics are particularly favorable. One colorCONTROL MFA monitors up to 28 test objects simultaneously.

The transmission sensor ACS3 is applied for measurements of self-luminous objects and transparent objects as well. Measuring the colour of self-luminous objects requires only the receiver unit, whereas a transmitter and a receiver unit are necessary when detecting transparent objects. The transmitter and the receiver unit can easily be fixed by means of a mounting set.

The circular sensor ACS2 is used for colour measurement of structured and highly reflective surfaces as well as lustrous metals. In the sensor, 24 lighting optics are circularly arranged around the receiving optics and provide a constant lighting permitting that the measurement can be executed independently from the angular position of the measurement object. There are two ACS2 versions with different measurement distance and spot size.

The standard sensor ACS1 is used for common measuring tasks. The transmitter and the receiver inside the sensor are arranged at an angle of 30°/0° to each other, producing a working distance of 50 mm. colorCONTROL ACS7000 is one of the most advanced inline color measuring systems in the world. Unlike conventional technologies, this system recognizes colors not just by comparing them to reference values, but also by using the reflection spectrum to ensure unique identification. Due to its very high measurement speed, the colorCONTROL ACS7000 is suitable for applications where colors and shades have to be examined on-the-fly and to very high accuracies. Due to the extremely high measurement accuracy, the system is also applied in laboratories, e.g. in industrial Research and Development. Different sensor models are available to suit various measurement tasks.

Magtrol’s TS In-LineTorque Sensors provide extremely accurate torque and speed measurement. Each model has an integrated conditioning electronic module providing 0VDC to ±5VDC (±10VDC) torque output through an 8-pole connector, as well as a USB interface which can be directly connected to a computer. The sensor is delivered with software allowing easy connection and data acquisition. A speed encoder provides a minimum of 360PPR (Pulse Per Revolution) in Tach A, Tach B and Index reference Z (1PPR). Magtrol Torque Sensors are very reliable, providing high overload protection, excellent long-term stability and high noise immunity. TSSeries sensor models are strain gauge-based measuring systems with imbedded telemetry signal transmission. Three LED lights allow a visual check of the sensor status by color code. The sensor is powered by 24VDC (12-32VDC) through its connector. TARE & B.I.T.E. (Built-In Test Equipment) can be activated by either software or input from the 8-pole connector.
