The Series 550 Cosmetic Coiled Pin was designed specifically for cosmetic cases to ensure the perfect balance of strength and flexibility. The 1-1/2 coil construction ensures that the Cosmetic Coiled Pin exerts sufficient radial force to achieve the long-term desired swing torque while protecting the plastic from excessive stresses. The use of SPIROL Series 550 Cosmetic Coiled Pin will simplify your design and manufacturing process. Uniform radial spring force results in controlled hinge movement and a hinge quality that remains consistent over time. Controlled hinge movement is achieved with wider tolerances and lower moulding costs than when a Solid Pin or cut wire is used. Finally, low insertion force and compression of the pin during installation minimises hinge stress and scrap. The net result is the prolonged useful life of the assembly.

The CSN® AirCoil is a special design based on the physical construction of a Rogowski Coil. Due to the ironfree design the coil does not have any saturation which allows to use only one CSN® AirCoil Module for both metering and protection arrays. Additionally the CSN® Aircoil shows linear transmission behaviour over a wide frequency range. A current range of hundred amperes up to several hundreds kiloamperes is easy to realize. CSN® AirCoil Modules are combinable and hence the output voltage level is adjustable to customer request. Coil-coated with high-quality PVdF paint, this pre-painted aluminum has a flawless, brilliant surface with a variety of plain, metallic and special colors available.

A very interesting aspect of our STS-spiral coils is the type with inverted fill material that is used, for instance, for polishing, descaling or removal of corrosion off rods or wires in a continuous operation. With an outside diameter of only 20 mm it is possible to reach an inner diameter of zero. Offering an enormous choice of dimensions and fill material qualities this brush has almost unlimited applications. The pioneering of this brush type has left its mark and shows in every detail of this brush. The diagram below shows how the STS coil is constructed: the fill material is fixed with a locking wire inside the backing tape. Open coiled Strip Brushes are designed to be used in either a close face formation or opened up to give an exaggerated helix for guidance of either product or detritus. This product is often used as an archimedean screw effect and the format of the filaments can be used as a blade or a cleaning tool. Open coils are constructed to suit their applications and can be made in all fill materials, backing strips and dimensions.
