To solve the problem of shrinking crystal (clear) PVC we developed a system for the just in time heat treatment with infrared light. After the treatment the crystal PVC will remain perfectly stable and can be integrated in products such as industrial doors, tents or terace covers without the danger of shrinkage, even when exposed to sunlight or cold. The first standard product range has three iglidur® materials available: the universal iglidur® P210 and the FDA compliant iglidur® A180 (up to 90°C) and iglidur® A350 (up to 180°C). In contrast to smooth fabric belts, chevron conveyor belts are equipped with cleat profiles with heights of 17 mm and 35 mm that enable the belts to meet the specific requirements of steep angle transport. germanWell® Corrugated Sidewall Conveyor Belts for Inclined Transport of Bulk Materials In inclined transport with germanWell® corrugated sidewall conveyor belts we use laterally stable conveyor belts - the germanCross basic belts. This lateral stability makes it possible to change horizontal to vertical direction of travel to vertical and vice versa. Laterally stable germanCross basic belts are available with 1 or 2 transversely rigid breakers and in strengths from 315 N/mm to up to 6000 N/mm. Just as sidewalls and cleats, germanCross basic belts are also available in highly abrasion-resistant and oil-resistant versions. Structure of germanBelt® fabric conveyor belts Fabric reinforcement: Our fabric conveyor belts are reinforced by 2-5 rot-resistant plies made of synthetic EP or PP fabric. These fabrics possess a good tensile strength/weight ratio, have excellent flexibility and troughability, low elongation, high impact resistance and good chemical resistance. Covers: The carcass of the fabric belts is protected by covers. Cover qualities or grades are characterized by the conveyor belts’ chemical and physical properties. Inclined systems require cleats or fabric conveyor belts with grooved surfaces. Cover thickness depends on the properties of the transported material and on loading conditions. Skim layers: Rubber skim layers in the fabric conveyor belt’s carcass provide excellent adhesion between the plies and efficient distribution of tension. They also absorb impact stress caused by dropping material.
