High and ultrahigh performance bearings are used in e.g. aerospace technology, metal production industries (high application temperatures), machine manufacturing, chemical industries (chemically aggresive substances), pharmaceutical and medical industries, semiconductor and biotechnology (clean room enviroments which may not be contaminated by lubricants).
