It is hard to imagine the logistics sector without our euro-pallet hoods. Throughout Europe they are predominately used as protection from dust, UV effects and effects of the weather during the external storage of goods and for the disposal of PET bottles in supermarkets. Hoods are available in various lengths and colours.

Our shrink hoods and pallet covers are the ideal packaging solution for pallets, machines, appliances, large equipment and construction materials, as well as all other bulky items that need protection against dirt and other harmful influences. PE shrink hoods and pallet covers can also be used as lining for lattice boxes or other types of cartons. Dürrbeck pallet protectors and shrink hoods offer excellent protection against corrosion, moisture and more, at all times. As professionals in plastic packaging solutions, we produce shrink hoods and pallet covers to order – tailored to meet the various needs of our customers’ specific industry or goods.

CONEC SnapLock hoods come with a locking system for quick and easy locking. Time-consuming screwing of the hood to the mating connector is no longer required and thus a long lasting connection is made without losable screws. Due to the audible and tangible “click”, even poorly visible device interfaces can be locked quickly and safely. CONEC SnapLock hoods are available in black or metallised plastic material in shell sizes 1-5. The hoods come with one straight cable entry and depending on the number of poles one or two side cable entries. With an upgrade kit, existing interfaces are also compatible with a CONEC SnapLock hood. The CONEC SnapLock system also allows a hood-to-hood connection.

For industrial applications in harsh environments, connector systems meeting such special requirements are needed. For our IP67 connectors are special hoods in plastic or plastic metallized available. Our hoods can also be combined with a broad range of applicable accessories of the CONEC programm for shielding, sealing and securing of connections and interfaces. For applications requiring not only IP protection, but also protection against electromagnetic interference in sensitive signals, CONEC offers a metalized version with shield connection at the cable strain relief.

Novelis Advanz™ 6CM – s118 is a heat treatable product for automotive structural and inner applications. Advanz™ 6CM – s118 was primarily developed for hood inners, in order to meet the highest pedestrian safety requirements while also offering a 6xxx series uni-alloy solution. In the as-supplied temper, this product is soft and highly formable – ideally suited to form complex parts such as hood inners. Developed for inner closure panels with special requirements, Novelis Advanz™ 6CM – s118 has excellent forming characteristics as well as a superior bending performance. Advanz™ 6CM -s118 has moderate strength after paint baking and offers controlled energy absorption in a crash situation. All values are typical.
