The 220 is a large capacity lightfastness tester dedicated for textile testing. It comes with premium on-rack light and temperature sensor and non-aging optical filter technology. With the ability to test 38 samples, the 220 provides nearly twice as much capacity in the same footprint compared to 150S+. The combination of its large test chamber and the efficient use of power and water make it today’s most economic air-cooled instrument available. With the bottle holder, the sample can be taken directly into the sample bottle. An easy-to-use clamping strap holds all bottles or other containers up to 88 mm Ø. Plastic, glass or metal bottles can be filled easily and safely without having to decant the sample for transport or storage. The position of the bottle holder can be set at different angles so that samples can be taken from different depths and surface textures, even from areas that are difficult to access. The sampler is particularly suitable for taking samples from basins, tanks, shafts, open bodies of water, etc. Sample depths of up to 6 m can be reached with the length-adjustable aluminium telescopic rods.
