Mechanical seals for the food industry are used in a very broad range of industry sectors, such as in breweries, wine and cider productions, beverage industry, cheese dairies, creameries, juice productions, producers of "soft drinks", etc. In this case, the various components of the seal are made of FDA approved materials. The gas-tight aluminium closures are suitable for mineral water, soft drinks, beer, wine, sparkling wine, milk and milkshakes, suitable for cold and hot filling, pasteurisation and for sterilisation. The closures can be delivered with transparent or body colours as well as lots of printed versions, with or without locking ring and with 5-fold or 6-fold vertical notching. TPE Sealing Compounds for closures using the out shell liner moulding system The EPSeal 700 series for PP or PE closures is designed for the special requirements of the out shell moulding liner system. There are versions for both carbonated soft drinks and the premium segment of mineral waters where very low migration is required.
