SD is our short cut for a laser head consisting of either the swivel axis only or in combination with a highly dynamic linear axis for laser processing of pipes. Suitable optics are used for the laser source used, either directly water-cooled metal mirrors with coatings of least absorption, or alternatively glass optics. The use of an adaptive optics optionally allows the freely programmable focus position for cutting and piercing. The exclusive use of torque motors reduces mechanically moving components and thus guarantees consistently high machining accuracy and best machining results over a long service life, against mechanical damage reliably protects our proven 3D collision protection. The clear aperture of the current laser swivel head SH35 is 35mm, the larger version SH60 is still available with a clear aperture of 60mm.

Ceramic Insulated (Band) Heaters are predestined for high-temperature applications beyond 450 °C, for example for pipe heating in process heat technology, especially when gases are involved. Ceramic insulated sectional surface heating elements are also brought into action where a heat storage capacity is needed, as in hot plates the case. With the heating surface of ceramic flat heaters being composed by small-limbed ceramic elements with aligned holes in the centre for the resistance coils to be fed through, ceramic sectional heating mats are also applicable for bent or cylindric surfaces. Like Micanite insulated flat heating elements also Ceramic insulated elements can receive a metal sheath. The latter provides additional protection against mechanical load and allows for attaching connection boxes. Another advantage is the easy installation by means of mounting holes in the metal cladding.

The HBP1100 - HBP1500 / HBP1100A - HBP1500A are series of semi-automatic and automatic large bandsaws manufactured by Behringer. The large-scale universal machines from BEHRINGER can handle any job that is needed. Their expertise: Handling heavy-duty workpieces with ease and slicing through the material with extreme cutting performance. When processing long solid workpieces – rolled or rough turned – or processing large pipes, these benefits make for dramatic improvements in productivity. Round or rectangular – the results are equally impressive. In the BEHRINGER semi-automatic models, the material is positioned by eye, for instance with the aid of a line laser. The resistance thermometer is suited for operation on tanks and pipes. All standard types of process connections are available. The change in resistance, dependent on the measurement temperature, can be detected by a transmitter and converted into a standardized signal. A variety of transmitters for head mounting is available for different applications. For In-process calibration the integration of a special measuriung insert with additional test pipe is possible (data sheet T4-025-45,Type GA3100, reference sensor: data sheet T4-025-46, Type GA3110).
