The SOMOS® Gramix ExtremeDos dosing system is specially adapted for gravimetrically dosing regrind with very challenging flow behavior.

The SOMOS® Gramix FlakeDos dosing system is ideally suitable for gravimetrically dosing PET bottle flake (bulk density 250 to 600 g/l). The system can optimally and directly process the flakes without premixing.

SPECTROFLEX G is ideally suited for dosing powders, pellets, regrind, granulates, flakes and fibers in continuous processes. motan's unique interchangeable system provides two huge advantages over common dosing units. Firstly, the user can swap the quick exchange modules in less than one minute easily without any tools. Furthermore, the single and twin screw exchange modules are also interchangeable, allowing the user to configure the feeder for nearly any type of material in a matter of minutes.

SAVEOMAT Satellite is the innovative vacuum conveying system in which the suction capacity can be split as required. The valve technology on the vacuum manifold allows the power to be split between different material separators. A control of the applied vacuum ensures a constant vacuum during material conveying and guarantees a delay-free material supply. Complete extrusion lines or entire production halls can thus be supplied via a single or several vacuum generators connected in parallel. The suction power is applied as needed for each individual component, ensuring careful feeding, even of critical materials. SAVEOMAT P is a funnel weigher specialized for the blockage-free feeding of powder with a maximum chalk content of up to 20%. Thanks to the optimal hopper geometry, an enlarged inlet, turbine vibrators at the hopper inlet and the storage hopper outlet, material deposits and bridging are avoided. This ensures a stable production flow and a constant material flow with a consistent minimum weight per meter. The flexibly combinable dosing station allows the exact blending of up to seven material components. Two configuration levels are available the DOS 2 (one main and one side component) and the DOS 7 (one main and up to six side components). Dosing is carried out according to customer-specific requirements. The processing of granules and powder is also possible. The dosing station can be flexibly equipped with different funnel weighers and thus fulfills the most demanding processes of gravimetric weighing. SAVEOMAT G is the basic version of the SAVEOMAT series. The Mono weighing hopper are suitable for granules and are available in different heights. Depending on the control loop, they use the measured values to control the screw speed of the extruder or the haul-off speed. This increases production output, reduces raw material consumption, and ensures substantial savings. Control takes place via an intuitive user interface and offers numerous software functions. SAVEOMAT Liquid is the multi-component dosing station for the recipe-precise dosing of solid and liquid components. The use of silane and peroxide is especially applied in PEXa and PEXb pipe extrusion and cable production. Precise mixing of the raw material is achieved by combining a static and a dynamic mixer. An injection tube is integrated in the dynamic mixer, whereby the peroxide or silane is introduced and ensures uniform wetting. Thanks to its safety features, SAVEOMAT Liquid meets the highest safety requirements while allowing a wide range of recipes. SAVEOMAT HF is the dosing unit for materials with a chalk content of up to 100%. A consistent material flow is ensured at all times. Depending on the material and application, the SAVEOMAT HF has either a twin-screw or a spiral dosing unit, with which the products are dosed smoothly and cleanly. Both variants can be combined with other powder and granule weighers. We offer various solutions for liquid dosing. Based on parameters such as flow rate, dosing accuracy, properties of the media process and regulatory requirements we select the appropriate method of dosing as well the most suitable dosing instruments. Dosing methods used, include gravimetric dosing with load cells, various types of dosing pumps and dosing with pumps using mass flow controller (MFC) and level sensors.

The SOMOS® Gramix ExactDos dosing system is specifically designed for ultra-small volumes from a minimum throughput of 200 g/h (approx. 3.3 g/min) and can be combined with any continuous dosing unit.

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE The SOMOS® Gramix TwinDos dosing system supplies twin screw extruders in the "underfed" mode required for such extruders. Optimized hardware and control software ensure extremely short system response times, the weighing electronics operating with 24 bit signal resolution. For example, the system even responds automatically to changing regrind consistencies and optimizes itself by appropriately readjusting the metered components. No software adaptation (e.g. using appropriate material characteristic curves) is required for this purpose. The closed dosing system releases little dust and can be installed directly on the processing machine, so saving space.

The Batchmix 50 to 3000 models cover gravimetric dosing applications with throughputs of 5 to 3,000 kg/h. Usable for pellets and regrinds. Solutions for special applications are available. Depending on size, the machines can handle between 4 and 12 different materials and option packages are available to extend their functionality. The unique mixing technology used maximizes the dosing accuracy and uniformity of the mixed product.

The bin blender is a special form of free-fall blender. Bin blenders are used wherever the volume of usually available containers are not sufficient for the batch, or the given process requires a fixed clamped blending container. The design of the bin blender can be customized to customer specifications. Whatever the bin shape - square, rectangular, round with a cone, double cone - symmetrical or asymmetrical, V-container - all these bin blenders from SERVOLIFT can be extended in order to perform the installation and extension functions as with typical container blenders. SPECTROPLUS is a gravimetric & volumetric synchronous dosing & mixing unit for diverse materials – from granules, regrind or powders to liquids and flakes. Due to the modular design of the SPECTROPLUS with only one frame size and up to 8 dosing module positions, it is one of the most flexible overall systems in the motan product world. In addition to the gravimetric and volumetric version, the SPECTROPLUS can also be combined (gravimetric and volumetric dosing modules in combination). ULTRABLEND medical is a gravimetric batch dosing and mixing station for plastic granules, additives, and regrind. It has been specially designed for pharmaceutical and medical technology applications. The high dosing accuracy and consistency of the ULTRABLEND improves end product quality and saves money by using less additives and reducing scrap. The ULTRABLEND is suitable for direct mounting on small injection moulding machines and extruders. All components are accurately dosed and weighed one after another into a weigh hopper. They are then passed to the mixing chamber where they are homogeneously mixed.
