All edges are sealed, so that no contamination can occur here and cleaning according to HACCP standards is also possible. Between the shelves of the high-bay storage are corridors in which the TWS function. They are controlled through the lane with the assistance of the TWL in order to load and retrieve products or load carriers at different levels. A combination which, through automation, utilizes maximum storage capacity, sustainably saves costs, avoids fault sources and enables an efficient working method.

One or several TWS take over products or complete load carriers such as pallets in the high-bay shelf storage area. The TRAPO Warehouse Lift (TWL) receives a TWS in order to store and retrieve in the storage lanes via a rail system at different levels. The TWS covers three metres per second at an acceleration rate of 1.5m/s² and completes the cycle of driving out, gripping and driving in in a maximum of three seconds.

The TTS Series presents itself as highly flexible: TTS approaches conveyor lines and takes over individual loads or loads on load carriers, for example pallets. The particular advantage: TTS are flexibly adaptable to production processes. The variants and superstructures are geared to individual customer requirements: TTS are complemented by lift function, conveying systems or robot. Special Reels are a longtime part of the GSW lineup Our Horizontal Reels (also called “Pallet Decoilers”) for instance, are helping to unwind lying coiled materials. They are best suited for thin strip which often is loaded together with the carrier pallet. GSW Tilting Reels make sense where normal coil loading is difficult or the materials don’t allow that process. Instead, the coil is loaded horizontally and uncoiled vertically afterwards. The powerful PZM-170 grain thrower has productivity up to 170 tons per hour. With its help it is possible to carry out quick loading of grain into grain carriers, cars, railway cars, containers, barges, trailers, etc. The grain thrower PZM-170 also quickly loads and unloads both low and high grain stores. Another important function that the PZM-170 can perform is the transfer of grain in closed warehouses and in open areas. This is necessary for long-term storage of grain. In the process of grain transfer, its moisture content and contamination by light impurities are reduced. Self-propelled grain loader with a large hopper PZM-170B is intended for unloading grain from grain carriers and trailers directly into the hopper of this grain thrower and subsequent loading of granaries to a height of up to 9 meters. Grain loader PZM-170B is also successfully used for loading grain carriers, trailers, wagons, ships, containers and trucks. The size of the hopper is 3.12 meters wide, 1 meter high with a lowered front wall, and a volume of about 4 cubic meters. It is convenient when handling grain in ports, grain warehouses and other premises, or in open areas. The grain thrower PZM-120M is an ideal machine for fast loading of any grain into any transport. PZM-120M grain thrower is also used to transfer grain from one place to another. During the transfer process, moisture and light impurities are partially removed from the grain. Transfer of grain is necessary during its long-term storage. PZM-120M grain loader quickly loads grain into grain carriers, automobiles, railway cars, containers, barges, trailers, etc. A full load of a grain truck takes about 15 minutes. The grain thrower PZM-120M is used to work with grain, oilseeds, legumes and industrial crops, while the trauma to the grain is minimal (less than 0.1%). During the operation of the grain thrower, the grain is fed to the conveyor using scraper feeders. The conveyor loads the grain into the trimmer, which throws it through a special guide tube. The trimmer with the pipe easily rotates 257 degrees. Changing the direction and height of grain flight is carried out in less than 3 sec.

The SB3 pallet box is optionally available in a closed or perforated version, with three runners or nine feet. The particularly stable runner or foot connection ensures extreme resistance and, with the former version, secure lift-tilt emptying by a rotating forklift. The peel force is a critical parameter for every user of Tape & Reel. If the peel force is too low, the cover tape will not stick on the carrier tape properly and the components may fall out of the pockets. A too high peel force will cause costly down times at the pick & place machines. The KT 5000 peel force tester from KTECH is the ideal tool to measure the peel force on your production floor. For measuring, a strip of the carrier tape is loaded into the KT 5000 and the cover tape is attached to the sensor. The constant movement of the carrier tape is done with a sprocket wheel. The movement speed is controlled with an encoder. The design of the KT 5000 guarantees the same peel angle and the same peel point during the whole measurement. Before each run, the KT 5000 is doing a selfcalibration of the sensor. The measured values are transferred to a PC via a serial RS232 interface. A green bar on the screen shows a good result, if the measurement is out of limit, the bar is red.

Metzner provides a number of proven automation solutions for the automatic loading and unloading of coating carriers for CVD and PVD coatings. The abbreviations PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) and CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) stand for different coating processes. When loading the PVD spears, we differentiate between "single-loading" and "back-to-back loading". In addition to part loading, spacers are loaded onto the spears in addition to the parts. In single-loading, a spacer is located behind each individual insert, whereas in back-to-back-loading, two inserts are placed "back to back" and only then is a spacer loaded. To implement "back-to-back-loading", a turning station is integrated into the machinery. This station is used to turn the corresponding insert by 180 degrees, loading it directly onto the respective spear.

EXCOR VALENO Trays and Containers are made of hard plastics based on polyethylene and polypropylene and manufactured using deep-drawing or injection moulding techniques. The durability of these containers makes them the ideal choice for multiple uses, or may with narrower walls be employed as single-use packaging.
