Calcium Chloride 94% is an ionic compound of calcium and chlorine. It can be produced either directly from limestone or as a by product of the Solvay process. It is hygroscopic in nature and behaves as a typical ionic halide.

Absorgel Max can be used for all types of cargo and is especially suitable when the cargo is tightly packed close to the container ceiling and walls. The dessicant is a single-use product and can be disposed as regular waste. The calcium chloride and gelling agent are non-toxic and the polyethylene (PE) plastic is recycable.

Absorgel Pouches are efective in controlling moisture inside of crates, cartons and other types of packaging to prevent mould, fungus, rust and other moisture related damages. The active ingredient in the Absorgel Pouch is calcium chloride, which has a superior ability to absorb moisture from the surrounding air. Absorgel Pouches can absorb over 10 times more than traditional inbox desiccants. The absorbed water is bound into a gel so that no liquid water is formed.

Perfectly suitable for containers loaded up to the walls where the Absorpole and Absorgel Hanging cannot be effective. The Absorgel blankets starts working as soon as it is removed from its transparent sealed packaging. It can be placed on top of the cargo or pallets with the printed side facing upwards. The calcium chloride absorbs moisture from the surrounding air passing in through its breathable packaging. The Absorgel's adhesive gel ensures absorbed moisture stays in the product. A film of recyclable PE plastic on the lower side ensures that moisture cannot escape below. The Absorgel Blanket is also fitted with adhesive pads below to keep it securely in place. Absorgel Blankets can be used for all types of cargo. They are especially suitable when the cargo is tightly packed close to the container ceiling and walls.
