The Flowlink Flow-Connect is an easy to use flow controller. It can be used to control almost any pump-flowmeter combination. Besides pump control it also has the ability to register additional sensor signals, like pressure of temperature. The standard Flow-Connect is suitable for connecting 1 pump, 1 flowmeter and 1 additional sensor. More complex flow-control is available on request. The Flow-Connect has 4 standard flow control functions. Pump Controller – 0 – 100% pump Flow Controller – flowmeter controlled flow Batch Controller – batch dosing Additional Sensor Controller – eq. pressure or temperature control The Flow-Connect can accept different control signals, like 0-10Volt, 4-20mA, Pulse and Modbus.

Typical applications for electromagnetic flowmeters to control the flow of cooling water for various processes. Electromagnetic flow meters are also frequently used in the field of water supply and drainage in public utilities for the transfer measurement of finished product water and raw water in water plants. Magnetic flow meters are also used in the paper industry's pulp process to measure the flow of grinding pulp, water, acid, and alkali; and in the coal industry to measure coal washing and pipeline hydraulic conveying coal slurry. It is used in the food and beverage industries for beer and beverage filling measurement. It is also used in the chemical and petrochemical industries to measure corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis.

Venrius offers glass tube, electromagnetic and metal tube variable area flowmeters for sanitary applications. Sanitary flowmeters are designed for applications that require hygienic, accurate, and consistent flow measurement, such as those found in the dairy, food, beverage, brewery, and pharmaceutical industries. Applications include milk and other dairy products, as well as beverages such as beer, soft drinks, and fruit juices.

Venrius has a broad range of purgemeters. The purge rotameters are intended for general use as a low-cost method of flow indication. It is suitable for the majority of non-critical purge applications that do not necessarily require high flow measurement accuracy. Their primary use is to regulate small gas or liquid purge streams. They are used to keep instruments from coming into contact with hot and corrosive fluids, to keep pressure taps from plugging, to keep optical devices clean, and to keep electrical devices from igniting when they come into contact with flammable materials.

Venrius' portfolio includes a variety of variable area flowmeters. Metal tube variable area flowmeters, glass tube variable area flowmeters, and purge rotameters are the three main types.
