In addition to specialized knowledge about nets, the team of Nets Specialist J. van Dijk and Sons has extensive knowledge and experience in making and assembling all kinds of ropes. In our assortment, you will find both synthetic and natural ropes, such as nylon rope, poly steel rope, cotton rope and manila rope.

Manila rope is a natural product with a fire-retardant effect. The rope feels rough and is slightly greased. Manila rope is used for banisters and as lashing and pull rope. In the shipping industry, it is used for making ladders.

Sisal rope is made from the leaves of the agave. Sisal is often used as scratching posts for cats. Even parrots love to play with this rope. The rope is not flammable.

The Polysteel rope has a high tensile strength and is UV stabilized. Polysteel is also characterized by its minimal stretch and abrasion resistance.

Polyethylene rope is light in weight and feels stiff. This type of rope has a low melting point.
