DOP Genoese basil pesto without garlic. A version of our Pesto prepared without garlic. Apart from the absence of garlic, the recipe is the same as normal Pesto (the traditional recipe is however very delicate). Contains extra virgin olive oil, basil grown in Liguria (Basilico Genovese DOP), pine nuts and Grana Padano. Compared to homemade pesto, only citric acid (acidifier) ​​and ascorbic acid (antioxidant) are added. No cashews, wheat germ or other ingredients foreign to the Ligurian tradition. Calvi DOP Genoese basil pesto without garlic has an intense green color and is characterized by a fresh and delicate flavour. Storage method Store in a dry and cool place, away from heat sources. Once opened, store in the refrigerator (+4°C) and consume within 5 days.
