We maintain quality assurance systems, such as iso 9001: 2009, iso 18001-2004 and iso 14001-2005. KIGEMA possesses a laboratory allowing testing the mechanical properties of products like hardness, elongation, and micrometer. KIGEMA also conducts penetration and ultrasonic tests and issues certificates of conformity with EN 10204-2.2, 2.3, 3.1B. Additionally, the company has an air-conditioned measuring room equipped with High-quality measuring equipment, which is regularly calibrated. The measuring equipment includes: calipers, altimeter, depth calipers, inside micrometers, bore gauges, outside micrometer and roughness tester.

This in turn requires reliable and permanent quality control (QC ). Quality assurance and its control are often related, although they are defined differently. The differences between quality assurance and quality control Quality assurance activities and responsibilities usually cover virtually the entire quality system, while QC is a series of quality control activities. In addition, elements of the quality system may not be specifically covered by QA / QC activities and responsibilities, but may include QA and QC. Referring to the above definition, as well as taking into account the industry in which we operate, we come to an important issue, i.e. measurement control. We produce such components for the railways industry as: – partitions; – walls; – doors; – panels; – supporting frames for internal parts; – driver’s cab equipment; – equipment boxes; – stairs, handrails; – frames of seats, windows. Welding of constructions for railway is based on DIN EN 15085 CL1. We have implemented and certified quality assurance system consistent - we are welding new components at CL1 class level.
