Compact Rail is a linear system consisting of steel linear rails with induction hardened raceways and high precision radial ball bearing sliders, also made of hardened steel. Thanks to their self-aligning capabilities, Compact Rail linear guides simplify the project, improve the performance and reduce the overall cost of application. Compact Rail linear guides are easy to install on all types of surfaces, including non-machined ones. Compact Rail linear guides feature a robust steel slider with ball bearings, self-centering heads with wipers, longitudinal seals to protect the internal components and a top sealing strip. The slider body is accurately finished with matte longitudinal edge chamfer and a shining ground flat surface. The slider heads are equipped with special slow release felt pads and are free to rotate with respect to the slider body, so that the felts are always in contact with the raceways to ensure optimal lubrication.

For this reason the bearing has a flange on each of the two front sides. After the clip-on the bearings are secured on both sides in the plate. The clip bearings have chamfered slot on the side that enables the mounting of the bearing on one side. After the mounting the bearing straddles and lines the bore in the plate. The shaft prevents the clip bearing from slipping out of the bore. The bearing cannot slip out of the bore even in axial movements. The bearings are self-lubricating and can be used dry. If required the bearings can also be lubricated. The material iglidur® M250 is resistant to all common lubricants. The iglidur® clip bearings are the ideal solution for bearing functions with low loads. The easy mounting makes it ideal for applications with difficult bearing locations. Compressive strength The permitted static surface pressure of iglidur® M250 amounts to 20 MPa at room temperature. Due to the good adaptability to uneven surfaces of the bearing housing, a high pressure load capacity of the clip bearings persists even in punched holes. For the most small bearing surfaces, the good vibration dampening properties and the insensitivity to misalignment are of primary importance. Surface speeds Clip bearings are particularly wear resistant in slow rotating, oscillating and axial motions. A lubrication at installation or continuous lubrication raises the permitted surface speeds. Clip bearings are available from stock in dimensions of 3 to 25 mm. Fixation Triflex RS For mounting, the bearings are laterally pressed together with the large flange. The chamfered slot makes the bearing spiral-shaped, whereby it can be easily inserted in the plate. The remaining slot in the attached clip bearing can compensate for linear expansions of the circumference. Thus narrow bearing clearances are possible with clip bearings. The bearing clearance is dimensioned in such a way that in a housing bore with a nominal diameter, a shaft made with the same nominal diameter turns easily. The clip bearing can be used in H-tolerance housings up to H13. The turning of the clip bearing in the bore is also permitted. Operating temperatures The wear resistance of the iglidur® clip bearings are excellent with operating temperatures till 80°C. Steel and stainless steel precision balls applications are limitless (bearings, control balls, screw balls, runner balls…).

IKO Thrust Bearings consist of precisely machined cages and rollers. They have high rigidity and high load capacity and can be used in small spaces. Thrust Needle Roller Bearings use needle rollers, while Thrust Roller Bearings use cylindrical rollers. Various types of raceway rings are available, and can be selected according to the operating conditions. When the bearing mounting surface of a machine is heattreated and finished by grinding, Thrust Bearings can be used without raceway rings, making the machine more compact. They are best suited for applications where high accuracy is required at high speeds and under fluctuating heavy loads, such as the drive mechanisms for automobiles, machine tools, and highpressure pumps.

GMN offers a complete range of sizes, types and designs with its spindle ball bearings in standard sizes S, SM and KH. In conventionally oil-lubricated spindle bearings, lubricant is supplied through a lateral oil supply. GMN spindle bearing designs +A, +AB, +L and +LB provide direct oil supplies to the lubrication point through a bore in the outer ring. GMN spindle bearing designs +AG ensure the highest possible machine running times without complex oil supply systems. These feed the lubricant directly into the lubricating point through holes in the outer ring. The developed high-performance, separable BNT and BHT designs ensure fast and uncomplicated handling, especially with regard to assembly and maintenance.

The use of high-precision radial groove ball bearings is especially recommended when axial forces are supported in two directions, but the installation space makes the use of a spindle bearing pair impossible; plus when the best-possible guide for rotating components is needed, but the RPM requirements are less important. Depending upon the load capability and the installation space available, GMN provides deep groove ball bearings in sizes 60 and 62 as per DIN 625. A large selection of various cages, lubricants and covers make it possible to adapt GMN deep groove ball bearings to any application.

The new designed rotary swivel unit RT2A is the ideal solution for retrofitting your machine with a 4th and 5th axis. It is based on the proven and robust rotary tables of the RT2A series. The design is kept very compact to ensure the best possible use of space with high load capacity. The rotary tables are equipped with an integrated precision roller bearing, which ensures high torque capacity, radial and axial run-out accuracy. The rotary swivel unit RT2A is available in the size variants RT2A150/200 and RT2A100/150. Various stepper or servo motors can be used as drives.
