The Pressure Switch F01 fulfils the high requirements of the EN13849-1 Machinery Directive. The F01 can be used for systems with Performance Level PL d and for safety-critical applications. The F01 has an E1 approval. The F01 is available for pressure ranges from 10 to 1200 bar and has two switching outputs which switch inverted to each other. The F01 is also available with one switching and one analog output. The current output is read back by the F01 to ensure the output signal is emitted correctly. To be able to use the F01 in many applications, users can select different pressure connections. The electrical contact takes place via a 5-pole M12 connector. Through the calibration of the transmitter via temperature, a total accuracy of 1 % FS can be achieved within a range of 0...80 °C. The maximum media temperature totals +125 °C. The stainless steel parts coming into contact with media guarantee maximum media compatibility in combination with the welded thin-film measurement cell.

The Ceraphant PTP31B is a price-attractive pressure switch with piezoresistive sensor for safe measurement and monitoring of absolute and gauge pressure. The pressure switch with compact design is extremely stable and overload resistant for up to +400 bar. The IO-Link capability allows easy integration and parametrization of the device.

The pressure switch P01 has been designed especially for use in mobile machines. The EMC characteristics as well as the impact and vibration resistances have been designed for this field of application. This facilitates their use in adverse ambient conditions such as can be found in mobile hydraulics. The integrated electronic switches (NPN or PNP) can be preconfigured ex-works. The P01 is available for pressure ranges from 0...10 bar to 0...1200 bar, whereby a switching accuracy of 1 % of the measurement range end value can be achieved. The maximum permitted media temperature totals 150 ºC; the ambient temperature totals 125 ºC. The parts coming into contact with media have been produced from stainless steel (1.4548) and guarantee, in combination with the welded thin-film measurement cell, maximum media compatibility. Optionally, a damping device can be integrated into the media access.

The Ceraphant PTP33B is a price-attractive pressure switch with metal diaphragm for safe measurement and monitoring of absolute and gauge pressure. The pressure switch with compact design is extremely stable and overload resistant. PTP33B with stainless steal housing is 3-A and EHEDG approved. The IO-Link capability allows easy integration and parametrization of the device.

Pressure Switches

The function of a Pressure Switch is to provide a path for an electrical circuit that is triggered at a certain pressure. Example uses are: •Oil pressure warning light in an automobile •Pump controller (turn well pump on and off) •Air compressor control •Industrial process signaling A pressure switch must have a process connection (usually threaded for a pipe or tube) and an electrical contact that is connected to wires or terminals. They may sense rising or falling pressure and most are adjustable, so the contact will engage (or turn on the electrical circuit) at a desired pressure setting. They can be pneumatic (air and gases) or hydraulic (water, oil or fluids) or even strictly mechanical. The internals can be a diaphragm capsule, a small chamber backed by a spring or a bourdon tube. The contact is usually copper points but can also be a mercury (in glass) tip switch. Unlike Pressure Transducers which give an analog electrical signal proportional to the amount of pressure, these
