CoriSENS is a rotation rate sensor for measuring angular velocity ω. It detects rotational movements using a MEMS gyroscope. This measuring signal in a range of ± 20° / s is converted by the sensor electronics and transmittes an analog current signal as well as voltage signal in addition. The sensor is certified according to uniform standards for electronic equipment on rail vehicles (DIN EN 50155) and can be operated directly with the usual onboard supply (24 V).

A micro-electromechanical spring-mass-system is continuously measuring the acceleration and transforms the measured data into an analog 4-20mA output signal. The sensor complies with the standards of DIN EN 50155 for railway vehicles. It is espacially intended to be used in the on-board network of rail vehicles. Its extrem rugged housing enables applications in harsh conditions in the outskirt area of the vehicle, directly at the bogie. The sensor impresses by its high ruggedness against impact, dust as well as moisture and guarantees high reliability. The device detects accelerations in a measuring range of ± 4g and operates with 110 Volt supply voltage.

High sensitive 24/7 observation and monitoring system, which allows an optimized responding time against any unwanted asymmetric threats. With the harbour and coast protection system of STL, the Navy will have the general capability to detect unknown threats by passive measurement of the signals of an invader. The observation can be conducted for surface and subsurface surveillance. The advantage of the passive detection is that an invader will not recognize he is under monitoring and observation. This increases the moment of surprise and is a big advantage for the naval staff. All this is made possible through an optimal use of available high technologies. Our 3rd generation system is based on STL‘s high resolution data acquisition, highly sensitive preamplifiers in combination with UEP electrodes, very low noise magnetic field sensors, acoustic sensors with highest accuracy, together with state-of-the-art underwater and computer technology
