Lika offers a complete range of Profinet-certified absolute encoders. Available in both low cost 27-bit resolution multiturn EM- series and high resolution singleturn (18-bit) and multiturn (30-bit) H-series, Profinet IO encoders fully comply with the Encoder Profile Specifications V4.1 version 3.162 based on the PROFIdrive profile. Furthermore they fulfill the requirements of the Application Classes 3 and 4 and support both the RT real-time transmission mode and the IRT isochronous real-time mode to meet precise and deterministic data exchange needs (jitter less than 1 µs and cycle time down to 1 ms). Profinet encoders support the standard telegrams 81, 82, 83 and 84 and implement advanced functions such as full scaling, preset, code sequence, position and velocity readout, diagnostic information. Among the key benefits: real time communication, deterministic synchronization, complete diagnostics, IT integration.

The range of incremental encoders fit to be coupled to motor shafts includes different mechanical types: the series RE400, with flange diameter 53.5 mm and RE470, with flange diameter 72 mm, provide a coupling joint, while the series RE410 and RE450 avail on a hollow shaft. Different measures are available for the joint hole and for the shaft diameter. All the types are housed in a metal case. The connection type and position can be chosen among different options, as well as the output signal formats. The pulses per revolution number ranges from 2 to 12500. The zero reference pulse option is available for all the series (type RE401/RE411/RE451/RE471)

Magnetic, absolute multi-turn rotary encoder WV36M/SSI -batteryless, with SSI interface. Owing to its double ball bearing, small design and wear-free magnetic measurement method, the WV36M/SSI is also best suited for positioning jobs in mechanically demanding environments. The AV58M rotary encoder with teach-in function is a magnetic absolute value encoder with analog output. The user himself can set the rotary encoder's desired measurement range via two buttons on the rear as well as two external inputs. The device features a batteryless multi-turn technology. The IG06 incremental encoder features a low-cost design with through hollow shaft and can be mounted easily. Resolutions of max. 1024 pulses/revolution. Through hollow shafts up to ø20 mm. Housing made of impact-resistant plastic. Low-cost version.

The IG07 is a robust incremental encoder with through hollow shaft, which is nearly indestructible even under the harshest ambient conditions. Resolutions of max. 1024 pulses/revolution. Through hollow shafts up to ø20 mm. Housing made of zinc die-cast. High shaft load rating, radial 5600 N, axial 1400 N.

Engineered on the basis of a compact innovative technology, the incremental encoders E30, offer great accuracy and reliability in a small size, and an excellent price/performance ratio. The incremental encoders E30 are available both in the bidirectional version (E30) and in the bidirectional type with zero reference pulse (E31); the pulses per revolution no. ranges from 2 to 12500. Their body diameter measures 30 mm only, with shaft diameter 4 or 6 mm. The encoder E30 is housed in an ABS plastic case, with axial cable or connector outlet. The output signals can be provided in NPN open collector, push-pull or line-driver format.

The range of incremental encoders with 58 mm round flange includes different mechanical types: the series RE520, with centering mask diameter 50 mm, compatible with the international standard SIZE23, RE540, with centering mask diameter 36 mm and RE510 with centering mask diameter 31.75. All the types are housed in a metal case. The connection type and position can be chosen among different options, as well as the output signal formats and the shaft diameters. The pulses per revolution number ranges from 2 to 12500. The zero reference pulse option is available for all the series (type RE521 etc.).

The small size encoders series E40 feature great accuracy and compact size. The incremental encoder E40 can be supplied with different mechanical flanges: the type E40 has 6 fixing holes on diameter 30 mm, while the type 40A has 4 holes on diameter 25.4 mm; the encoder E40V has a front fixing screw, and the series E40Q is provided with a square flange of mm 43×43. The types E40M and E40S are hollow shaft encoders designed for motor coupling, respectively by joint and by anti-rotational elastic metal support. For all the types the ppr no. ranges from 2 to 12500, with or without zero pulse (E40 or E41). The series standard case is out of ABS plastics, with axial or radial cable or connector outlet; series RE40 with aluminium housing and IP65 radial cablepress outlet is also available.

Compact sized encoders series REC fit to any application where short body dimensions are required – the case length only measures 38 mm. REC encoders are available with different mechanical versions: with round flange and servo copling (type REC520/REC540), square flange (REC620) or hollow shaft, with (REC450) or without elastic support(REC440). The case is out of strong aluminium and connections are ensured by the connector type M12, or optionally by cable. The encoder with M12 connector output is UL Listed for the canadian and US markets. The pulses per revolution number ranges from 2 to 12500.

The small size encoders series RE40 feature great accuracy, compact size and stoutness. The incremental encoder RE40 can be supplied with different mechanical flanges: the type RE40 has 6 fixing holes on diameter 30 mm, while the encoder E40V has a front fixing screw, and the series RE40Q is provided with a square flange of mm 43×43. Stout and reliable the incremental rotary encoders series SEB/SEB-Z can be employed in severe conditions. They can be supplied in the bidirectional type (SEB) or bidirectional with zero reference pulse (SEB-Z). The number of pulses per revolution ranges from 2 to 12500. The types SEB-M/SEBZ-M operate according to the magnetic principle, with a number of ppr ranging from 8 to 2048. The ABS plastic case offers high protection against environmental agents – IP65 degree, which can be upgraded to IP66 with the optional O-ring mounted on the encoder shaft. The connections are provided by cable or connector in axial position; the output signals can feature the NPN open collector, push-pull or line-driver format.

The flexible joint mounted on the encoder shaft grants a very good coupling, without parallel and angular mis-alignment, and avoids overloads, which can damage the bushings life. Elap measuring wheels are fit for the use in touch with metal, steel profiles, varnished surfaces, plastic materials, paper, cardboard, wood, fabrics and leather; they offer an excellent resistance to oil, fuels, ozone and environmental agents.

Recording of the angular position and revolutions by means of Hall sensors - data output plus parameterisation and diagnosis via PROFINET. Robust housing manufactured from seawater-resistant aluminium or stainless steel - stainless steel shaft - ball bearing with radial shaft seal-sensor circuit consisting of ASIC with Hall elements - electrical connection via M12 connector or cable outlet. The Profinet interface according to IEC 61158 / 61784 or PNO specifications order No. 2.712 and 2.722, version 2.2, is integrated into the model series TRT absolute encoders. Real time classes 1 and 3 are supported, i.e. Real Time (RT) and Isochronous Real Time (IRT) plus the requirements of conformance class C. To achieve the SIL2 level, the TRT/S3 contains addtitional internal monitoring mechanisms as well as safe communication via PROFIsafe. The PROFIsafe protocol is implemented according to the PROFIisafe Profile for Safety Technologie version 2.4 (PNO Order No. 3.192)

The absolute encoders are designed for direct connection to the PROFIBUS-DP. The interface is implemented with the SPC3 Siemens PROFIBUS controller. The protocol corresponds to DP-Slave Class 2 functionality in accordance with Profibus profile for encoders, No. 3.062, and is described in detail in the TRD 12770 user manual. The TRD is mechanicallly and electrically compatible with the electro-optical encoder CRD.

A positive-locking mechanical connection between the cus-tomer’s shaft and the sensor shaft ensures that the magnet in the sensor shaft precisely reflects the rotation of the cus-tomer’s shaft. With the TBN model, one rotation (i.e. max. 16,384 steps) is recorded.With the subsequent absolute transmission, the TRN shaft encoder reaches a measuring range of up to 4096 rotations. The position and speed values (PDO - Process Data Object) are output via the CANopen protocol.
