A quick thickness control of blankets, plates or underlay foils outside the printing press: This is the main function of the transportable, analog BIRKAN thickness gauge. It allows you to check in no time the thickness of your cylinder packing and prevent printing problems. The thickness gauge is equipped with a special feeler for soft materials such as rubber printing blankets. However, other materials not thicker than 5 millimetres can be equally measured.

Cygnus DIVE is a wristmountable underwater ultrasonic thickness meter that has been designed for the professional diver and can be worn on the forearm, providing an invaluable free hand whilst performing an in water survey (IWS). It has a large bright display for easy viewing from all angles, by the diver and his camera/surface crew, even in poor visibility. Cygnus DIVE also hosts an array of other key features, such as Ascan to help verify measurements; data logging that enables hasslefree reporting and analysis; MSI™ to verify stable measurements; and AutoLog for automatically logging measurements without having to press any buttons. The Cygnus DIVE uses the multipleecho technique (approved by Class Societies) for accurate, reliable thickness measurements through coatings up to 20mm thick. This unit also incorporates singleecho and echoecho modes used for extreme corrosion and pitting, making it one of the most versatile underwater thickness gauges on the market.

Zelux W is an optically clear engineering plastic with excellent dimensional stability and good strength and stiffness over a wide range of service temperatures. Zelux is used for a wide variety of electrical applications due to its low moisture absorption, good electrical insulating properties (Dielectric Strength 760 v/mil) and an excellent flammability rating (UL Yellow Card file E240206). Zelux is easy to fabricate, paint, and glue.

Spare Dial Gauges are available for all Digital Thickness Gauges. They will be supplied without contact point and without lifting device. For Digital Thickness Gauges the data cables illustrated below are available. The large display has a good visual perception for easy reading of the measuring result. The use of aluminium for the body of the instruments makes them light and easy to handle. The Digital Thickness Gauges are switchable from metric reading to inch reading.

This Stand converts the Dial Thickness Gauges e.g. K50, K100, J50, J100 and F1101/30 as well as the respective digital models, designed for hand-held use, to table models. Retrofitting this Stand to models already in use is possible.
