Trout is a freshwater fish of the salmon family. The rainbow trout gets its name from the presence of a red stripe on its silver body. It contains a lot of digestible protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A, D ,E water-souble potassium, selenium, zinc, magnesium, iron and phosphorus.
