The PPS Aerostrip provides a simple and convenient replacement for traditional pressure tapping or pressure-sensitive paint. It is a low profile, rapidly deployable air pressure sensing strip for aerodynamic measurement and surface optimization for motorsport and aerospace applications. The AeroStrip consists of an extremely thin strip of sensors that can be applied, and reapplied, non-destructively to test surfaces for pressure measurement due to reusable masked adhesive backing. It has comparable accuracy to pressure tapping in subsonic flow, but with a tiny fraction of the setup time and cost. With Aerostrip, you can quickly take non-destructive outside pressure measurements from control surfaces, live or in a wind tunnel, enabling faster turnaround and optimization of aerodynamic components.

The TactileMat is a rigid and robust pressure sensing pad that is of the largest, high-resolution pressure mapping sensors on the market. The use of a large area sensor like the TactileMat allows you to capture dynamic pressure over a larger area without the dead zones typically associated with trying to use multiple smaller sensors side-by-side. This is one of the largest pressure mats on the market. A sensitive, waterproof capacitive tactile sensor array designed to capture instantaneous and actionable spray pattern and spray pressure data generated by sprayed fluids or gases. Capture spray distribution and impact pressure and accurately identify the location and pattern where sprayed fluid or gases land. Available in two application variants, Spray Pressure or Spray Pattern, and optimal for use in situations where spray pressures are infinitesimally small.

The Stretchable TactArray is a flexible pressure sensor pad engineered from a soft and conductive silver-metalized Spandex. The Stretchable TactArray can stretch up to 10% and be folded in multiple directions while still maintaining high data quality. This sensor is approximately 3-7 mm thick and is best suited for dynamic curvature applications such as seats, horseback saddles and other applications where sensor thickness is not an issue. The Industrial TactArray is a flat sensor that can capture and map pressure distribution in even the most extreme conditions. Constructed from high-quality Kapton or Polyimide, the Industrial TactArray can pressure distribution of up to 700 psi and in temperatures between -40° C and 200° C. This system is best suited for use in applications requiring tactile sensors that can withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures—like heat presses, brake pads, and nip rollers. The PPS TactileGloves are tactile pressure sensor gloves with embedded sensing elements throughout the palm and fingers, allowing for natural and accurate testing of pressures applied to and exerted by the hand. Nearly any hand operation can be measured accurately through the 65 individual highly sensitive sensing elements within each glove. The CTA TactileHead is a width adjustable pressure measurement and mapping system for quantifying pressures exerted by headphones, earmuffs, headbands, and more on various head sizes. A high-resolution Conformable TactArray sensor is molded onto the curved area around the ear of the mannequin head, while another high-resolution TactArray sensor is mounted to a flat plate on the other side of the head to provide a controlled comparison. Chameleon, our real-time visualization and acquisition software, is then used to display pressures from both sensors simultaneously and to perform real-time analysis for evaluating comfort and fit.

The PPS Wrist Sensor is designed to be worn on the wrist and provides accurate capture of pressures exerted on the wrist. This thin, fabric-like sensor offers a minimally-invasive method for measuring the contact pressure of any device or product worn on the wrist. Use this to map and measure the comfort of watch bands, wristbands, activity trackers, and more. Identify areas of high-pressures or discomfort, and improve your product in a quantitative, measurable way. The wrist sensor can be used in motion to characterize pressures during movements, such as when jogging.

This 150 mm tail extender is designed to work in conjunction with any SingleTact micro force sensor or calibrated sensor system. For optimal performance use one extender per sensor and do not touch the connectors during use.
