It is possible to mix "glitter" type solids with varnish and apply them in-line on printed materials. The best visual results are obtained by applying these two varnishes in one pass during the printing of the actual run. The advantage of drip-off over selective lacquering, e.g. screen printing, is that a perfect fit is achieved even on very small elements and that raster varnishing is possible.
