A 3D scanning is like a digital 3D photography of the real world – but where each pixel in a digital photo only contains information about colour, each pixel in our “3D images” further contains information about it's position in XYZ coordinates in space. We can scan everything – from cars, airplanes, ships, factories to processing plants, bridges, tunnels, buildings you name it. We have several different scanners – among others a FARO FOCUS X330 that can scan from 0,6 mm up to 330 meters with a length-precision of +/- 2 mm! We work alongside architects and steel entrepreneurs in terms of design and calculation of all types of steel constructions – in accordance with Eurocode3, EN1993 and for pressurized equipment in accordance with PED (Pressure Equipment Directive). We help our customers to CE mark their products in accordance with EN1090. We design everything from staircases to processing plants - for example by creating a 3D laser scan of the existing buildings and then designing the new plant in 3D CAD with a 1: 1 copy of the physical environment. With Finite Element Analysis we are able to see how a design withstands different loads. For instance, you can apply an internal pressure and then see exactly where the structure most likely will break down, immediately enabling you to see the under-dimensioned parts of the structure. Hereinafter you reinforce the structure, and run a new simulation, which will show whether the changes have the desired effect

CFD is a powerful tool that among other things is used for computer simulation of the flow of gases and liquids. CFD works by designing the flow-domain in 3D. Then all of the properties of the surfaces is applied, for example surfaces where the flows access the system, and surfaces where the flows leave the system. It also specifies volume / mass / temperature / viscosity / compressibility of the flowing medium. The calculation can display 3D curves of flow of the medium through the system and enables you to change the geometry of the flow domain and thus "design" the air stream as desired.
