TesT Force transducers comply with the best technologies available. They incorporate our long experience as well as our customer's preferences and requirements for precise and robust devices for various applications. TesT Force transducers are particularly characterized by precision, quality, robustness, durability and convenient handling. On demand we also provide specially-designed force transducers with other dimensions and measuring ranges. TesT delivers all electrical force and torque transducers with TEDS chips (TEDS = Transducer Electronic Data Sheet nach IEEE 1451.4). The electronic units of the model 813 and the TesTController 850-USB may recognize sensors equipped with TEDS chips, read their properties and calibration data and automatically calibrate with them. Thus, these electronic units operate with dozens of different sensors so that a complex recalibration is not required.

LOAD CELL AND TORQUE SENSOR – X/Y/Z - Model 8565 In robotics and automation engineering, the requirements for precise, tactile handling are constantly increasing. The robust 8565 multi-axis sensor with its low crosstalk enables you to monitor and evaluate your process at any time, regardless of the sensor’s orientation. With just one sensor, you can obtain accurate three-dimensional load information. Its six independent outputs let you selectively evaluate the direction of action of the loads (axial force [Fz] / lateral forces [Fx/Fy] / torque [Mz] / bending moment [Mx/My]). Thanks to its compact design and adaptation via the standardized robot flange in accordance with DIN ISO 9049-1, the sensor can be integrated into many applications quickly and easily. When the slightest deviations are detected in your fast-moving and complex production processes, you can intervene immediately to make adjustments. This helps to prevent faulty parts and reduce manufacturing costs.

The 9206 USB sensor interface series is ideally suited to Notebook-based mobile use for high-precision, traceable calibration jobs that must be performed on-site for equipment such as presses, torque measurement facilities and pressure control systems. A factory calibration certificate or German-accredited DAkkS calibration certificate can optionally be provided for the USB interface plus relevant sensors, ensuring compliance even with the stringent traceability requirements of quality assurance standards. Due to their small dimensions and sturdy construction, these miniature compression load cells made of stainless steel can be used in a wide range of industrial applications and in laboratories. This compression load cell is easy to handle and its installation is uncomplicated. Its small size makes it perfect for use in very restricted structures for both static and dynamic compression force measurements. The miniature compression load cell model 8415 is a flat cylindrical disc, the bottom of which is closed with a cover. The load application button for receiving the compression forces is an integrated part of the sensor. A strain gage full bridge is applied in the gauging member of the measuring element. This produces bridge output voltage directly proportional to the measured force. The small diameter of the sensors results in high rigidity and a short measurement range. The measuring force has to be applied centrically and free from lateral forces.

Due to their extremely compact design, these load cells can be used wherever static or dynamic load forces have to be measured in very tight spaces. Model 8416 is perfect for use in micro-technology and just as suitable for measuring tasks in the research and development sector. The ultra-miniature compression load cell model 8416 is a flat, circular disc, the bottom of which is sealed with a cover. The load application button for receiving the compression forces is an integrated part of the sensor. The sensor element inside the body carries a strain gage full bridge which outputs voltage directly proportional to the measurement variable upon application of force. The short nominal measurement distance of the ultra-miniature compression load cells due to their design provides a high degree of rigidity. If needed, the nominal characteristic value can be standardized in the sensor connection cable.

With the Therma friction thermocouple you can determine the surface temperature of the brakes while driving. Attaching the mounting adapter puts uniform pressure on the brake disc through the spring-loaded sensor by using a bayonet cap. That perfectly compensates movements caused by centrifugal force and vibrations as well as the volume decrease caused by disc wear while ensuring a valid measurement. The brake disc friction sensor measures the surface temperature of the brake disc. It imparts important insights about the temperature development. That enables an indication about the brake line, intake and temperature radiation. A brake disc that becomes too hot during a race massively loses its effectiveness and deceleration to the accustomed and optimal degree is no longer possible. If the temperature is too high, the brake pads start gassing on top of that.

The 7270 TRANS CAL can run on standard or rechargeable batteries for portable use or from an external power supply. The handy model 7270 digital indicator supports load cells, pressure sensors and torque sensors based on strain gages. The 14 mm high display shows the current measured value. The TARE function allows any base load that may be present to be zeroed. The clear, well organized control structure enables quick and easy configuration of the TRANS CAL. The 7270 is equipped with a charge state indicator. The SM71 series force sensors were specially developed for measuring clamping forces. The short measuring path of 0.019 - 0.14 mm (depending on the measuring range) and a natural frequency in the kHz range guarantee optimal results even for highly dynamic tasks. Typical applications include the simple determination of screw preloads, where the force sensor is used as a “measuring washer”. The very good reproducibility is less than one percent of the nominal load. The sensor is available in measuring ranges from 20 up to 2000 kN. Hardened washers are already included in the scope of delivery for quick and easy installation. The extremely simple and robust design is made entirely of stainless steel (protection class IP68).

EGE inductive sensors for high mechanical loads still work trouble-free even after 10 impacts of 8 Joule. The sensor protected by a solid stainless steel sleeve is thus particularly resistant to shock and vibration. They are ideal for areas where standard sensors could be damaged mechanically. Siempelkamp Bond Analyzer BLOW-SCAN is a detection systems which automatically detect blows and unbonded areas during the production of wood panels.
