Track rollers—also referred to as idler rollers—are motion transmission components designed to work with all varieties of tracks. They are used in conveyor systems, cam drives, and a wide range of similar material handling systems. Regardless of the material or machine, these components play a critical role in track and rail operations. When selected, employed, and maintained properly, they facilitate system operations, allowing for greater speed and efficiency. Single row track rollers are available with spherical outer ring running surfaces or cylindrical (or flat) outer ring running surfaces. While various idlers have been developed to perform adequately in different installations, determining the most appropriate one remains a challenging task. The primary function of an idler roll is to provide load support with minimal resistance to movement, particularly addressing radial loading from the belt and materials across specific idler spacing. This role encompasses absorbing impact at the loading point and managing belt tension in curved sections, which can be challenging to quantify. Modern conveyor design methods have enhanced our comprehension and control, providing clearer insights into idler implications. Assemblies of idler rolls are strategically designed to influence the belt profile, often forming a trough or tube. It’s essential to acknowledge that the trough’s shape, consistency, and flexibility significantly impact idler roll behaviour.

FREE ROLLER CONVEYORS DIAMETER MM. 60 AND PITCH MM. 80 FOR PALLETS The free roller conveyors P80 are characterized by a rollers diameter of mm. 60 mm and pitch mm. 80 and are the ideal solution when handling pallets, containers with reduced base and standard pallets with cross feed. They consist of a robust structure coated steel profile, with fixable supports and adjustable feet. The rollers are of high quality made of galvanized steel. Rotation on shielded ball bearings with permanent lubrication. The roller conveyors are built according to the scale, size and characteristics of packages to be handled.

We manufacture and deliver the complete range of simple carrier roller holders, e.g. for the lower belt roll and 2 or 3 part upper belt stations in all trough angles. Box weighing system to be integrated in manual idle lines When the box is positioned on the weighing station, the operator can read and check the weight of the products inserted in the box before placing it on the pallet and thus avoid errors or returns of the goods. In this way the operator can view the result of the weighing on the weight indicator without having to lift the packages to weigh them. The weight indicator is usually installed on a vertical post clamped to the structure of the roller conveyor. In this way the indicator remains positioned vertically and it is very easy for the operator to read the weight. The standard version foresees the installation of the basic DFWL indicator. On request it is possible to install the 7-key indicator also with DFWKPXP printer. The rollers used for the roller conveyors have a diameter of 50 mm and a pitch of 75 mm

GURTEC’s Heavy Mining Idler Roller is setting a new standard for high speed mass transportation and life cycle costs. Our highly automated manufacturing line utilises a flow forming process for extremely round tubes and an end forming process to round shell edges and integrate concentric bearing houses to the roller shell body, avoiding the need for welding.

Idler roller conveyors made of a sturdy structure in painted steel, supports with adjustable and height-adjustable feet, galvanized steel rollers with rotation on shielded ball bearings. In this position a convenient and economic box holder has been installed and allows the operator to lock and fill the box in comfort. Once the filling is complete, the operator can detach the box by simply pushing it forward.

Siegling Extremultus live roller belts are energy-saving, durable components of driven live rollers. The quality and performance of the belts determine how quickly and reliably items our customers’ items are distributed. The belt’s tension member plays a key role in this process. Today’s standard is polyester fabric (E). But polyamide sheet (P) or aramide fabric (A) are also used. The tension member is embedded in a thermoplastic intermediate layer. Rubber elastomer or urethane coat the two friction layers, which are the top face of the belt (towards the roller) and the underside of the belt (towards the drive and in some cases to the idler roller). The combination of tension member and coating lends the belt its special characteristics – tailored to conveyor type and purpose. The splice requires no extra adhesives (in the Aramid and Polyester line) and can be made quickly, easily and cleanly on site.

Spiral rings are mounted on standard rollers and used to clean conveyor belts. When the idler roller rotates, the spiral rings move the dirt from the center of the belt outwards through a tumbling motion. The spiral rings (rubber rings) from FTK Förderband Technik Kilian GmbH are permanently fixed on the conveyor roller and are characterized by their abrasion resistant quality. In addition to the tried and tested standard, we also manufacture rings in special quality, e.g. B. white food quality, oil and fat resistant or for the extreme temperature range ( 40 ° C to 180 ° C).

Accumulation chains guarantee trouble-free positioning of the transported goods and almost completely prevent jolts when the belt starts and stops. Steel clamped and monobloc idlers with double cylindrical tube or conical tube.They are used in the production of gravity or push curves.
