The range of cables has been designed to avoid propagation of fire and emission of toxic fumes in public places and industrial facilities in case of fire.These Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cables and wires can be offered as single wires, shielded cables or multi-core cables jacketed with Axon' special compounds. They are designed to resist temperatures ranging from -50°C to +250°C. LSZH cables offered by axon' are made with tin plated copper, nickel plated copper, copper alloy, or silver plated copper conductor. They are insulated with special halogen free insulating material including Poliax™, Neutrax™, Polyimide, Axon Special Compound. This is an ideal solution for cabling of buildings, trains, subways, ships, industrial premises and all public places where security of people and material have to be assured

Axon' has developed Axovolt®, a new range of high voltage cables and cable assemblies for challenging environment. These miniature interconnect solutions are able to be used up to 20 kVDC for the cables and 12 kVDC for the cable assemblies. They are designed for high voltage applications and reduced atmospheric pressure. ITAR-free, they are manufactured in France. Axovolt® cable assemblies are made with 22AWG, 24 AWG or 26 AWG wires insulated with FEP. They can be terminated with plug connector or receptacles. This is an ideal solution for Defence onboard electronics used by pilots in aircrafts.

Irrespective of the application, Axon' is able to offer cable assemblies and interconnect systems terminated with different types of connectors including miniature Micro-D connectors,D-Sub connectors, coaxial connectors or rugged MIL-DTL-38999 connectors. From one-off demand to mass production, Axon' Cable is able to deliver cable assemblies including single and multi-branched harnesses. SpaceWire link is used to enable the reliable transmission of data at high speed (between 2 Mb/s and 400 Mb/s) from one unit to another. SpaceWire links are full-duplex, point-to-point, serial data communication links. Advantages Near constant total drive current (+3,5 mA for logic 1 and -3,5 mA for logic 0) which decreases switching noise on power supplies. High immunity to ground potential difference between driver and receiver. LVDS can tolerate at least ±1 V ground difference. High immunity to induced noise because of differential signalling normally using twisted-pair cable. Low EMI because small equal and opposite currents create small electromagnetic fields which tend to cancel one another out. Not dependent upon particular device supply voltages. Simple 100 Ohms termination at receiver. Power consumption is typically 50 mW per driver receiver pair for LVDS compared to 120 mW for ECL or PECL.
