Inductive sensors with factor 1 switching distance for all metals with the same switching distance without reduction factor. Proximity sensors are based on the proven inductive principle - switches con tactless when metallic objects come close due to the inductive dampening of a resonant circuit. Factor 1 sensors are used where different metals from steel to aluminium should be detected. They are, for example, used for the occupation control of presses, where different metals are used all the time.

ODE infrared detectors detect the infrared radiation of hot objects from 300° C to 2000 ° C. EGE ODE infrared detectors are designed for use under extreme conditions up to 350° C with optic fibre cables and attachment optics. The sensors provide a 4...20 mA output and have an additional freely adjustable switching threshold for the PNP switching output or relay output. The detectors are, for example, used to measure and monitor process temperatures in e.g. metal processing or glass manufacture.

EGE flow rate sensors for the flow rate detection of 10...100 l/min feature one-piece measuring tubes with an inner diameter of 20 mm from highly resistant stainless steel V4A (1.4571). For particularly aggressive media EGE offers special materials, such as bronze, Hastelloy, titanium or even PTFE. The devices can either be set up intuitively using a potentiometer and LED indications or easily programmed using buttons and a multi-segment display. EGE flow rate sensors can be installed in circuits with corresponding pipe diameters using threaded fittings or compression fittings. The provide excellent measuring results wherever the safe, robust and low-maintenance monitoring of low flows is required.

Robust and reliable level monitoring for fluids and bulk materials in cylindrical design with thread. The sensors are suited for installation using mounting plates and nuts or adapters in the tank wall. The sensors are based on the proven capacitive principle. The medium to be detected functions as dielectric. The medium in touch with the sensor generates a capacity change. This is converted into a switching signal or an analogue 4...20 mA output signal. EGE filling level sensors in cylindrical design are designed for rough industrial environments with PTFE housing for use in aggressive media. Also available with robust stainless steel thread.

System 3000 reliably protects stone crushers, waste compactors, mills and other processing plant which could be damaged by larger metal parts. The MDV/MU analysis devices of system 3000 feature, dependent on the variant,m a comfortable installation and set-up using automatic calibration, self-monitoring, reset function, pre-attenuation indication, sensitivity potentiometer and test function. Optionally, devices with multiple functions are available in the miniature control cabinet as well as robust water-tight variants for outdoor use. To increase sensitivity or range, it is also possible to connect several coils to an analysis device.

The optical level switches of this series are ideal for the detection of fluids with low DK value, such as lubrication oil or hydrocarbons. Optical level sensors detect the change of the refractive index at medium contact with the transparent tip from polyethersulphone (PES) or glass. The sensors with stainless steel housing and glass tip are also suited for the detection of aggressive media, such as solvents. Also available with Ex certification according to ATEX and IECEx.

EGE offers ultrasonic sensors with up to 600 cm distance from the medium surface, ultrasonic sensors for applications in humid environments in protection class IP 68, IP 69, and ultrasonic sensors in small compact designs. Ultrasonic sensors continuously issue an ultrasonic pulse. The ultrasonic signal is reflected at the medium surface. The filling level is continuously calculated from the runtime of the echo of an ultrasonic pulse. The sensors output PNP switching signals or a 4...25 mA signal. Ultrasonic sensors are particularly suited for applications where no media contact with the sensor is desired or the sensor cannot be installed from the side or in the immediate vicinity of the medium for design reasons.

EGE flow sensors for gaseous mediums without integrated amplifier permit the space-saving flow measurement on site and the comfortable setting of the limit value using separate amplifier, e.g. within a control cabinet. The measurement takes place without mechanically moving parts using a thermal measuring element. The current flow state is displayed at the amplifier using LEDs. The devices are used wherever a safe, robust and low-maintenance monitoring of flow values is required. This includes e.g. air conditioning technology, monitoring of exhaust air systems and ventilation monitoring.
