A universal bar with minimal dimensions for supply voltages up to 60 kV. It is used to charge surfaces for blocking and tacking purposes. The charging bar is mainly used where production processes and cycles run faster and with less interference if the materials used (such as films, foils, papers, etc.) adhere to each other. The parallel configuration of two or more bars allows surface-covering charging or operating the unit at high web speeds.

Uncontrolled electrostatic discharges when handling highly flammable or explosive media often cause personal injuries and damage to equipment. With smaller containers such as drums, buckets and canisters, the risk of electrostatic sparks is often underestimated. For these simple, but no less dangerous processes, Eltex has developed the TERRALIGHT battery-operated ground monitoring system. The TERRALIGHT grounding system shows the user that a correct dissipative ground connection is present and thus ensures a high level of safety when handling highly flammable media. Mobile ground monitoring, e.g. on mobile suction/pumping stations or containers, is also possible. For a safe ground contact, the contactor/clamp is important as an interface between the grounding device and the object to be grounded. For the TERRALIGHT we offer the TERRACLAMP with built-in grounding indicator. The user can see directly on the clamp if the grounding has been done correctly

The POWERTACK electrostatic ribbon tacking system is used in the folders of heatset web offset and publication gravure printing presses. Their task is to electrostatically block the incoming paper ribbons to prevent dog ears. This is a standard feature for new presses and available for retrofitting on all common heatset presses of the world. High voltage generators generate positive and negative high voltage which is passed on to the charging bars mounted in the folder. The positive and negative bars are arranged opposite each other. The ribbons pass between them. The resulting force causes the paper ribbons to attract each other, the air in between is displaced and the ribbons are pressed against each other. As a result, the press can run at a higher speed with better folder accuracy.

Passive Eltex ground clamps from the 70 and the TERRACLAMP series make it easy to establish connections. The clamps are used when decanting or filling potentially explosive materials. Electrostatic charges are discharged effectively. Passive ground clamps from the TERRA-C/P, 70SG, 70PG, 70OK and 70PK series have extremely hard and sharp gripper jaws that can penetrate any coating. The clamps have a continuously high clamping force, which always ensures a secure connection to the potential equalization at all times. The TERRA-C/POS, 70SG and 70PK grounding clamps have a plug-in-connector for a simple connection to the passive grounding cable, spiral cable and rewinding cable reels.

Description In digital high speed printing, paper loses moisture during drying. The moisture loss leads to considerable quality and efficiency issues. Electrostatic remoistening increases the water content in the paper after drying, returning to the level required and thus improves quality and productivity throughout the entire process chain. The contactless remoistening system DIGIMOISTER 1500 can be installed in any new or existing digital high speed press. The pre-charging and the two-substance nozzle technology are patent protected.
