Meadow Hay is ideal for leisure or competition horses in light to moderate work. Produced from permanent pasture containing a combination of grass species, Meadow Hay is a palatable choice providing nutrients which will help to support the working horse and reduce reliance on the hard feed ration. In the M&T forage range our Meadow Hay sits above our Timothy Hay and below our Ryegrass Hay products with moderate levels of protein, energy (calories) and fibre. Our Strapped Meadow Hay provides a manageable option for those with limited storage, fewer horses, is a handy size for travelling and competing away.

Timothy Hay is the perfect choice for leisure horses in rest to moderate work. Our Timothy Hay is our lowest energy (calorie) product with sugar levels typically analysing at <10%, while also being high in fibre to help satisfy the appetite. This makes it the ideal choice for good doers, native types, those convalescing, veterans and those with any clinical history which mean a low sugar ration is required (such as laminitis). Although low in sugar, Timothy is still highly palatable and therefore can be used in addition to other forages to add variety, particularly with fussy feeders.

Low Energy Haylage provides a reduced sugar and protein content and is high in fibre. It's great for less active horses, as well as those whose weight gain needs to be controlled. All bags used are 100% Recyclable under code 4.
