ORBIS reusable bulk containers are designed to protect and transport heavy parts in automotive and industrial applications. Engineered for rugged applications, the plastic bulk containers are extremely robust and offer comprehensive product protection over a long service life. The 1200 x 1000 plastic bulk containers are available in multiple heights for increased packing density. The collapsible design with a return ratio of up to 1 : 3 reduces the shipping of air during return transport to a minimum. With a 1200 x 800 footprint, the ORBIS GitterPak® is a reliable 1 to 1 substitute for metal gitterboxes, metal tubs and wooden crates in automotive and industrial applications. The collapsible and stackable design offers transport efficiency and warehouse space savings. Due to the unique side wall design, our folding pallet boxes are particularly robust and can be used for years to come. Plastic pallet boxes do not rust and prevent metal-on-metal part damage with an all-plastic design. The ORBIS GitterPak is manufactured from 100% recyclable materials. ORBIS Europe offers large collapsible bulk containers for rugged industrial and automotive applications. With an extended length, collapsible design, the XXLPak is designed to handle, heavy, long and hard-to-fit parts. It optimises space utilisation at the same time. Our extra-long bulk containers are available with wide access doors and manufactured from high-density polyethylene using a structural foam-molding process for increased durability. Multiple footprints, heights, door configurations and labelling options are available in order to adapt our large bulk containers to customer’s supply chain needs. The ORBIS IonPak® is a UN certified plastic container that is designed to transport solid dangerous goods (e.g. UN3480). The solution consists of a durable standard container with customised inner packaging. The lithium battery shipping boxes are suitable for non-certified batteries, prototypes, battery cells, battery modules and batteries in equipment. For increased part protection, the shock absorbing interior packaging is adapted to the customer’s product and supply chain. The collapsible ORBIS OceanPak® is designed for intercontinental shipments with a footprint that is optimised for transportation in an ISO sea container. The OceanPak® can be collapsed when empty to reduce storage and return transportation costs. A 40’ sea container holds 60 fully assembled containers and 160 collapsed, empty units. The reusable plastic container is suitable for multiple use over a long service and represents an alternative to one-way packaging.
