The LSV Laser Surface Velocimeters have been designed as the ideal next generation sensors for non-contact length and speed measurement. They provide precise length and velocity data quickly and reliably for both process control and cut-to- length applications. The LSV 1000/2100 measure reliably on almost any solid surface, whether controlling processes utilizing carbon steel, shiny aluminium or oily sheets, or producing round wire and cable, or manufacturing paper, cardboard or tissue.

The pivoting support DVW 1 is a simple accessory for some ODAC® laser head models used for such applications. With the continuously pivoting motion of the laser heads combined with the electronic "minimal value detection" of the relevant dimension, the height (or thickness) will be measured very accurately in most cases. The device needs no additional electronics. It is, together with the laser measuring head, directly powered and controlled by the respective processor unit. ZUMBACH's all-new CALIBRATOR SP 40A is designed to test and calibrate Spark Testers with test voltages up to 40 kV, used for electrical testing of cable jackets and conductor insulations or tubes. The device is embedded in a robust suitcase ideal to perform calibrations and tests, to simplify the shipment for the next calibration as well as store away safely. The test stages can easily be activated over a rotary switch with integrated artificial fault simulator used to test the Spark Tester fault detection capability assuring full calibration according to IEC standards. The AUTAC 300 is used for temperature measurement and control in applications with conductor preheating or post annealing stages. The system consists of a sensor and a processor unit. Non-contact and precise temperature measurement with "Convective Heat Flow Principle" from 10° C to 300° C on wires and cables with a diameter range from 0.2mm to 7mm (.008 in. to .28 in.). The measurement is independent of influencing factors such as colour, emission, speed, material or surface structure meaning the wire. The measuring head is slotted and can be changed without interruption, there is no need to thread the wire.

Thanks to the robust, dirt-resistant design of the Steelmaster, it is suitable for hot steel applications under production conditions with a lot of dirt and warm product and ambient temperatures. The PROFILEMASTER SPS 200 / 400 / 550 / 800 system is based on the laser triangulation principle using four up to eight light-section sensors. Each sensor consists of a laser transmitter and an industrial CMOS camera. The sensors are arranged in an octagonal metrology to obtain complete information about the product shape. The optics of the point laser emitter contain a cylindrical lens that generates a line. The CMOS cameras extract the position of the laser line internally using a peak detection algorithm, resulting in a sub-pixel resolution that enables high acquisition speeds. Thanks to its unique concept, precise and reliable measurements are guaranteed for virtually any shape, regardless of torsion. Likewise, an advanced software toolbox is available for measurements such as angles, widths, thicknesses, radii, depths, distances, diameters or deviation from the nominal value. The profile shapes can be easily imported using existing DXF files.
