These length and angle measuring systems are therefore typically used for speed and position control in machine tools. Thanks to their robustness, our measuring sensors are mainly used for quality control in assembly and production plants for series production, e.g. in the automotive industry. LASERSCALE™ measuring systems work according to an interferometric laser operating principle, which generates a very high signal quality. This helps to achieve very high resolutions in the single-digit picometer range. These measuring systems are primarily used in semiconductor production and in measuring machines. Outside of Japan, Magnescale Co., Ltd. has sales companies in Germany (Wernau, near Stuttgart) and in the USA (Irvine, California) and is also supported globally by a large network of distributors and retailers.
