After 16 years farming in the Champagne area, we became pasta producers in 2015 under our Les Nominettes brand. Our pasta are made from sustainable soft wheat and durum wheat farmed on-site. Les Nominettes brand is a 100% local product promoting the excellence of simplicity. Our production workshop sits at the foot of the “Montagne de Reims”. To maintain the quality of our pasta, we use Aurèle spring water drawn from deep underground in Jandun in the Ardennes. The different kinds of pasta are made with love, and we attach great importance to local know-how. We primarily sell Les Nominettes in producer stores, delicatessens and restaurants, where numerous award-winning chefs use them in a number of creative manners. Our products are available in different varieties: La Nature, La Gourmande, a clever blend of soft and durum wheat. La Semi-Complète and La Complète, La Blé-Sarrasin, La Champenoise, Les Pennes Blé Ancien, tagliatelle, spaghetti and our organic pasta made from spelt flour. For children, we propose fantasy pasta with fun shapes such as rabbits, tractors or dinosaurs. This trademark is a safety mark for gluten-free products of the Association of European Coeliac Societies, recognized in most developed countries. We also utilize green technologies: our products are manufactured on environmentally friendly equipment with the use of cold milling technology. Cold milling is milling at temperature of less than 40°C, which allows the flour to retains most of the vitamins and minerals. In addition, we have completely refused to use refinery in our production, as well as any flavor enhancers and preserving agents. The name of our company is BMM d.o.o., and our pasta production business unit is called Gabaroni. Our company primarily focuses on the production of organic and vegan pasta. Gabaroni, our business unit, has been operating for 5 years but has managed to reach the shelves of major retailers such as Merkator, Lidl, DM, Spar, and other smaller stores in a short period. We produce pasta from organic wheat, spelt, buckwheat, and kamut flour, with additions of Swiss chard, beetroot, nettle, and charcoal. However, what sets us apart and makes us different from other companies is our production of legume-based pasta, specifically using red lentils, chickpeas, peas, and black beans. In 2019, we were awarded for the most innovative food in the pasta category, specifically for our organic fusilli made from red lentils and chickpeas. Our aim is to offer our customers the best and healthiest products. Therefore, all our pasta is made without salt, sugar, additional cheaper flours, or any unnecessary additives.
