V. with the aim of replacing conventional petroleum based plastics with plant-based bioplastics. These biomaterial granulates are called ARBOFORM®, ARBOFILL® and ARBOBLEND®. These environmentally-friendly biomaterials are processed in the same way as conventional petroleum-based plastics by means of injection moulding, extrusion, pressing, deep drawing, calendering, spinning or blow moulding to make moulded parts, panels, films, bottles, profiles, coatings or filaments. In 2014/15, a dedicated production plant was built in Ilsfeld and was more than doubled in 2022 through an extension.
