Hermetic packaging is not sufficient. Changing climate conditions and temperatures during weeks in transport at sea lead to the formation of condensation, which corrodes metal. If no protective measures are taken, surfaces can be damaged, efficacy and suitability for storage is reduced and malfunctions or total loss may be caused. With TROPACK, you can calculate the risks and precautions. Application methods and quantities vary depending on the sector, product and individual case. The desiccants required for a shipment are mathematically calculated for each individual case using a program designed specially for TROPACK based on DIN 55474.
