We have specialised in the processing of very soft silicones from Shore A 0 to max. Shore A 20. To satisfy the high quality requirements, we rely on constant quality controls across all production stages. A documented quality management system according to the European standard for medical products DIN EN ISO 13485: 2016 thereby forms the solid foundation of our high quality standard. Due to the latest machinery, our own tool manufacturing and continuous further development, we are able to implement your individual wishes and requirements optimally and cost-effectively. Even small series can thus be implemented quickly and without complications. With Silinan®, a special silicone mixture, we are also able to equip products for podiatry with a function that prevents fungal growth. The company was founded by Harald Emde in August 1980. The first and initially only manufactured product, the EMDE LIFT flexible screw conveyor, laid the foundation for a company which is now known globally far beyond the borders of Germany with a variety of spheres of action in all industries. In the early years, the product range was rapidly extended to further plant components for handling bulk materials, etc. In the mid-80s, the big bag became a popular container for transporting bulk materials. Corresponding filling and emptying stations were developed at the same time. In 1986, the drilling technology range for anchor drilling was added to the production spectrum. This was very quickly further expanded, and extended with further important mainstays (large-pile, exploratory and geothermal drilling). In the same year, a toolmaking company specialising in the manufacture of LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) moulds was bought on account of its highly interesting and innovative technology. In 2000, the expertise of a company called Wutra, based in Wurzen in Saxony, was bought in. At the time of the takeover, the company had 30 employees; it now employs three times as many, producing conveyor technology for mass bulk materials mainly for the construction material, salt and fertiliser industries. In 2005, a large company with its own foundry was acquired as part of a management buyout at the Stassfurt location.

Our company began in the field of plumbing fixtures and accessories and general rubber goods. Then we focused on industrial demand in the fields of occupational safety, hoses and plumbing, technical rubber goods, plastic items, foams, drive technology, and adhesives and sealants. In 2005, we specialised exclusively in the field of technical sealing profiles.
