TECNARO GmbH (TEChnologie NAchwachsende ROhstoffe) was founded in 1998 as an ICT spin-off from Fraunhofer Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung e. V. with the aim of replacing conventional petroleum based plastics with plant-based bioplastics. These biomaterial granulates are called ARBOFORM®, ARBOFILL® and ARBOBLEND®. These environmentally-friendly biomaterials are processed in the same way as conventional petroleum-based plastics by means of injection moulding, extrusion, pressing, deep drawing, calendering, spinning or blow moulding to make moulded parts, panels, films, bottles, profiles, coatings or filaments. The company has received a number of awards for the innovativeness and sustainability of its products, including Green Brands Germany 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2017/18 2019/20 2021/22 Gipfeltreffen der Weltmarktführer honoured TECNARO with the Innovation Champions Award 2020, Diesel-Medaille 2011, European Inventor Award 2010, Germany Industry Award 2009 in the suppliers category, Werkbund Label 2008, VR Innovation Award 2007, ZDF WISO Founder Award, Euromold Award in Gold. With just three members of staff to start with, a customer base primarily from the wastewater treatment sector was quickly established and supplied with premium-quality products such as containers and pipes made of thermoplastics. Following steady growth, in 1982 the company set up its current headquarters with newly constructed premises in Albershausen, which has been expanded several times since. This is the home of the modern, conveniently situated production facility belonging to Gicklhorn GmbH, which makes welded structures out of thermoplastics with the necessary machines and equipment. We process premium-quality plastic semi-finished parts such as boards, profiles and pipes using machining, hot forming and welding/glueing. All the most common materials are processed, including PE, PP, PVC, PVDF, E-CTFE, PMMA und PC.

HSK is a German family-owned business which manufactures motorised eccentric shears. Using upstream or downstream machines, our cutting machines are linked to an automatic cut-to-length or trimming systems. These shears are designed and manufactured in consultation with customers. The drive for the crop, cut-to-size or slitting shears are designed according to customer requirements and a drive using a three-phase or servo gear motor, or a drive using a flywheel and clutch-brake combination is used. Unlike single motorised guillotine shears, HSK guillotine shears with electric control are used for cutting or trimming metal sheets. However, it is also possible to cut other materials, such as plastics, CRP/GRP, non-woven fabric, foam and precious metals. This is mainly in the form of panels but is also possible in the form of reshaped workpieces, such as stamped parts and profiled sheet metal, or direct from the coil.
