PLAY + SOFT furnishings provide for a vast range of situations; soft three-dimensional landscapes, micro-places, trnasformable seating, play-things, modular sets, dens and hide-outs. They are made in environmentally-friendly material which is fire-proof but soft to the touch, in a wide range of colours and textures. PLAY+ SOFT is the result of a workshop journey involving designers, teachers, pedagogista (pedagogical coordinators in Reggio Emilia municipal infant-toddler centres and preschools) and schools and therefore features both a rich component of pedagogical research and the presence of designers from around the world.
