  1. A.P. VAN DEN BERG

    Netherlands

Cone Penetration Testing (CPTU) is a Dutch soil investigation technology. For over 45 years A.P. van den Berg has designed & supplied advanced equipment for this application. The company provides the complete package including pushing systems, tools & a CPT data acquisition system for onshore, offshore & near-shore in-situ soil investigation. The pushing systems (cone penetrometers) are available separately as well as mounted on a frame or vehicle. Onshore CPT rigs are for example the larger CPT Track-Truck & CPT Crawler or smaller Mini CPT Crawlers and CPT Trailers (systems for seabed CPT are ROSON & WISON-APB). Digital CPT data acquisition system consists of: -the digital Icone that measures tip resistance (qc), friction (fs), inclination (lx/y) & optionally pore water pressure (u); -click-on modules to measure additional parameters (Seismic CPT, Conductivity, Magnetometer & Shear Vane); -the Icontrol recognizes cones & modules; -the Ifield software for realtime data presentation.

  2. AHC BENELUX

    Netherlands

AHC Benelux B.V. with production sites in Eindhoven and Venlo, is part of the Material Technology Group of Aalberts Industries. Within this group the forces of surface treatment and heat treatment have been combined. Through intensive cooperation a comprehensive range of processes and treatments is available, covering all aspects of surface technology.AHC Offers, Functional layers: Surface treatment is not only applied to improve corrosion resistance - by applying the correct techniques, properties like wear resistance, corrosion resistance, brazing etc.Chemical / Anodic layers: Through galvanic, chemical or anodic methods layers are applied to the surface of the substrate.Layers with polymers: By combining these layers of surface treatment with polymers, surfaces with unique properties are created. These are layers which provide very special characteristics in the field of anti-friction, non-stick and corrosions resistance. Layers with polymers are i.e. SYNCOAT®, TUFRAM® and NEDOX®

  3. VERSTEGEN GRABS

    Netherlands

Verstegen is world's leading manufacturer of rope operated mechanical grabs for the dry bulk industry. Stevedoring companies, port authorities as well as steel works and power plants are using our grabs for handling all kinds of bulk materials. More than 10.000 Verstegen grabs operate in more than 100 countries worldwide. DEDICATION TO GRABS Verstegen is specialised in designing and building of grabs. Our people are continuously working to develop and build the most efficient and cost-effective grabs. Besides the standardised product range, Verstegen also develops unique solutions for specific situations and customer needs. VERSTEGEN PHILOSOPHY For fast and efficient unloading, a grab is one of the most important tools. In order to get high unloading rates, the grab must be extremely reliable with a high productive capacity. Furthermore each grab should be custom built for the material it has to handle and the unloading situation in which it has to operate. HIGH CAPACITIES AND LOW DEAD WEIGHTS In order to obtain the highest productive capacity, a grab should have the highest possible volume without unnecessary dead weight. This is only possible with a good and well proven design and the use of the best possible materials. To increase strength and minimise wear, each Verstegen grab is provided with shells completely made of high tensile wear resistant steel. The friction in the articulation points is absolute minimal because of an excellent bearing system.
