"Tahmis Coffee", one of the oldest coffee shops in the world, was established in 1635. THE STORY FOR COFFEE OF 400 YEARS "Tahmis" means the place where the coffee is pound. In the old days, coffee used to be pound in mortars carved from walnut trees.
