At Italian Wine Import we have been fascinated and interested in the Italian grapes for many years. We make every effort to select Italian wines, and we have a diverse selection of Italian wines in stock at our wine shop in Horsens. We know that price and quality are linked when we sell Italian wine back home. That is why we visit Vinitaly in Verona every year, where we taste, smell and pick out noble grapes for you from some of Italy's best winemakers. Before we make the final decision on which Italian wines we want to have in the range, we order different wine samples home to Denmark to taste and evaluate the wine properly. Together with other wine experts, we try and taste Italian wines, which you will hopefully find interesting. We always carefully assess the wine's fullness, intensity, acidity and sweetness before establishing various cooperation agreements with local Italian winemakers. All our exquisite Italian wines are properly shipped home to Denmark. We work with professional transport companies to ensure that the wine does not get frost and cold during transport. If wine gets cold, the residual sugar may settle. Our partners have refrigerated trucks that maintain a constant temperature and thus maintain the good quality of the wines.

FMS produces New Beginnings Wines since 2009 and supply wines for Private Label (OEM) projects creating new brands for clients since 2014. As international trading house we assemble several brands and whisky since 2000 into single consignments. Champagne and cognac from France are sent directly to importers. It works with several agents and exports to Europe, Asia, Africa and USA. NBW has 13 ha in Paarl with 10 ha under vines. The Skipper's label on the maiden 1998 vintage was reintroduced in 2014. The Private Label Project manages still and sparkling wines. In 2015 it took 3 orders in 3 months from clients in Denmark, Kenya and Bolivia. Recently a Fairtrade organic brand for the USA was created. FMS or the client can design the labels. It is printed digital, flexo or litho. All tasks are handled by specialists. FMS imports and distributes winesave® for keeping opened wine, champagne and whisky perfect for 9 weeks. It is totally inert and consists of 100% Argon gas – 2½ times heavier than air. Being in the process of creating a Wine Club focusing on boutique wineries for clients in Brazil & Sweden, FMS is once again putting its in-depth knowledge of the industry to the service of the consumers. Each month, members will receive 2 bottles of wine from SA. Everyone at FMS is most passionate about wine and the service of its clients, following every project and consignment conscientiously. We rely on repeat business for profitability, not on once-off deals.
