While Coiled Spring Pins are extremely versatile self-retaining fasteners that can be used for many different functions, SPIROL has designed several series of Coiled Pins to meet the nuances and performance requirements of some particular niche applications. These Coiled Spring Pins are variations of our standard product either manufactured from special material, have a special finish or undergo specific processing to meet performance, corrosion, compatibility and assembly requirements for the specific application. These pre-designed application-specific series of Coiled Pins help companies shorten the design cycle to confidently launch their product quickly to their market with a pinning solution that has been tested and proven within their assembly.

SPIROL invented the Coiled Spring Pin in 1948. Truly an engineered fasteners, the Coiled Pin is available in three duties, light, standard and heavy, to enable the designer to choose from the optimum combination of strength, flexibility and diameter to suit different host materials and application requirements. Their shock absorbing design dampens forces and vibration to prevent hole damage and prolong assembly life. Light Duty Coiled Spring Pins are generally recommended for soft, brittle or thin materials such as plastics, aluminium, die castings, ceramics, and where holes are located close to an edge of the assembly. In situations not subjected to significant loads, such as when used purely for alignment or as an axle, light duty Coiled Pins are often used because of easy installation resulting from lower insertion force.

This high quality design is rust free and is more robust against environmental impact compared with standard gas pull type springs. These stainless steel gas springs are also optically appealing, very durable and available, upon request, in many stroke lengths and are also possible in many extension forces in combination with the suitable stainless steel accessories.

We primarily employ sheet metal with the cutting-edge ProMag metal coating in our product manufacturing. ProMag is a revolutionary alloy of aluminum, magnesium and zinc delivering exceptional protection in the harshest conditions and extending the material’s lifespan significantly. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, up to 10 times more than galvanised steel and nearly 5 times more than Z-600 galvanised steel (600gr/m2). Environmentally-friendly, it uses less zinc than pure zinc coatings so it is the most profitable alternative for the post-galvanisation process.

In the field of plastics we offer metal strips with PVC plastisol and/or organosol coatings, as well as polyamide plastics. PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene), PC (polycarbonate), PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and PLA (polyactide), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and others. These can be produced with a layer thickness of 5-200 μm Depending on the plastic, higher layer thicknesses can also be achieved. In addition, most plastics can also be equipped with antibacterial properties; of course in all colour variations. Although a one-sided coating more common, we are able to apply the same and/or different plastic adhesives for both sides.

Our rubber-coated metal strips are used in numerous applications, such as engine and aggregate seals. In addition to NBR, we also coat metal strip with EPDM, NR, HNBR and FPM in thicknesses of 10 μm - 2 mm. The metal strips can also be coated with an anti-friction coating, which offers extremely high resistance to heat and special sliding ability. The resulting further processing quality enables them to be used wherever parts made of metal strip with sealing, sound-absorbing or vibration-damping properties are required. The very good bonding between elastomer and metal, combined with outstanding deep-drawing properties, shows the superiority of this coating. The metal strips can also be top-coated with decorative lacquers on both the metal and the rubber coated side (e.g. as a distinguishing feature in the company's own production for top and bottom sides).

Screw auger is used for horizontal transportation of grain or finished products. It has a U-shaped structure.

Screw conveyors are used to transport grains and powder materials on the horizontal axis. Spiral sheets of different sizes are used depending on the purpose of use. Full spirals are used for transfer purposes only. We produce screw conveyors with capacities ranging from 5 tons/h to 500 tons/h.

Discharge tube screws enable the grain stored in the silo to be transported horizontally and unloaded safely.

The new CNC milling machines with vertical center with 3 and 5 axis machines give us a possibility to produce complex details with excellent quality. We work usual steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, brass. The maximum dimension of detail is 1200x600x600 mm, by 5 axis work ф320 mm. The maximum weight of the product is 1000 kg. The company possess universal milling machines, which are used for production of details with small series, repair of instruments, producing of single pieces
