Cages are used to position and keep the balls distanced from each other at the pitch circle diameter. We offer a variety of different cage architecture and material tailor for each customer application. Cages are constructed of brass, steel, or synthetic materials. Brass and steel cages are manufactured at WIB. We also manufacturing our own tooling and can adapt cage designs to meet the requirements of the application. For certain applications, ball bearings without cages or full complemented bearings are manufactured.

The IKO Ball Slide, which uses aluminum alloy for the table and bed, is a lightweight and compact limited linear motion guide unit. Since the ball is guided by a cage made of synthetic resin and rotates on a high accuracy round shank way, it can obtain light and smooth motion. Easy Mounting Since the product is properly preloaded, it can easily gain a stable linear motion only by fixing it against precisely grounded mounting surface with bolts. Excellent Corrosion Resistance The ball and way are made of stainless steel and the surface of table and bed have anodic oxidization coating, allowing high corrosion resistance.

Thanks to this technique, round or test bars can be rotated at high speed, ensuring remarkably smooth running. You can turn drawn, round or profile bars, with correct straightness, at the maximum spindle speed of the lathe. This allows us to guarantee workpieces with high precision. The SamSpindle spindle extension offers maximum safety. It does not allow access to parts in motion. The moving parts are all enclosed in the SamSpindle cartridge, which is closed by a safety nut.

The balls of these precision bearings meet ‘Grade 3’, the highest quality defined by the ISO 3290/DIN 5401 standard. Combined with a cage and a high precision casing, they allow rapid positioning while reducing friction and eliminating the stick-slip effect. Our all-ceramic bearings are characterised by their high corrosion resistance to seawater and various chemicals. They are therefore used, for example, in the chemical industry, in the food and beverage industry, in shipping and in chlorine systems. We can manufacture our full ceramic ball bearings with rings and balls made of zirconium oxide (ZrO2) or silicon nitride (Si3N4), depending on the application. They are available with full balls or with cages made of PEEK or PTFE. The runout accuracies common with precision steel bearings cannot be achieved with all-ceramic bearings, so speed values have to be reduced. Ceramic materials are harder than steel, but also more brittle. Silicon nitride in particular has a low elongation at break and tends to break under tensile stress without prior plastic deformation. We take this into account when selecting the optimum bearing solution for your specific requirements.

Versatile hydraulic workstations and tables Versatile workplaces can be assembled with the TA hydraulic table base and a few components. As a table base for a height adjustable assembly table, a workbench or a massage table - the robust and elegant TA cuts a fine figure. Each table base TA has a modular structure: table leg TA, plate carrier, crossbar and table feet.
