Heat exchangers are mainly used in vacuum distillation systems for cooling and condensation in the absorption and rectification processes in chemical plants. Glass heat exchangers enable visual process control during scale-up and production and processing of multiple (acidic) chemical substances. We offer glass spiral type and shell & tube type heat exchangers. These are often operated in combination with a secondary condenser for additional vapor condensation.
The glass spiral heat exchangers can be operated in parallel to form large heat exchange areas for higher condensation performances and larger reactors systems in pilot plants. They feature easy cleaning and operation of cooling media at up to 3 bar pressure.
The custom-tailored capacitors of our E70 series are mainly applied for power factor correction or as resonance capacitors in induction furnaces that are operated at mains frequency (50/60Hz).
The E70 are made alternatively in two designs:
Inside the steel case, there is a large number of individual self-healing capacitors, each one of them protected by its own break-action mechanism. In the event of a failure, the affected element is disconnected separately while the capacitor as a whole continues to function with slightly decreased total capacitance.
Windings assembled inside a hermetically sealed metal case, filled with solid resin, and protected by a pressure sensor similar to the capacitors of our ranges E56/E59.

Surge protection capacitors are designed to protect high voltage motors and transformers from events with high transient overvoltages (e.g. lightning or switching surges). In combination with the PD-free layout, the self-healing dielectric provides for extremely long operating life and highest operational safety. Unlike traditional oil-filled ALLFILM-capacitors which are bound to fail as soon as overvoltage or other stress factors have provoked a dielectric breakdown, the self-healing dielectric of DSCTM insulates the breakdown spot immediately and continues operation as usual.
The winding elements in our MKP(D) capacitors are surrounded by poison-free vegetable oil. Like our premium ranges of MKPg and MKP, the MKP(D) combines the best possible technical features with eco-friendliness and operational safety, using special metallizing patterns, our SINECUT slitting technology and optimized winding geometries. Besides excellent ratio of capacitance to volume, our MKP(D) capacitors distinguish themselves by high AC-voltage load capacity and suitability for high rms and surge currents.
Our MKP(D) are available as single and three-phase capacitors and well-suited for all conventional applications in power factor correction. They have a self-healing dielectric and are provided with an irreversible overpressure disconnector (break-action mechanism, " BAM ").
Connection is made through convenient standard 6.3mm tab connectors. Technical layout, testing and application accord to IEC60831, UL810 and CSA 22.2.

The capacitors of our SR17™ series were developed especially for the maintenance of older traction converters manufactured in the 1970s?1990s. By consequent development of our well-proven MKP-technologies, we managed to place self-healing DC-capacitors with very high energy density and stability of capacitance into can dimensions smaller than, or identical to, those of the traditional MP-capacitors (SIEMENS/EPCOS codes B25353), which makes them ideal drop-in replacements for maintenance and retrofit programmes. Moreover, the low-loss polypropylene dielectric permits a far higher AC ripple load than with the conventional MP-capacitors.
Our SR17™ are housed in a hermetical stainless steel cylinder. As opposed to the oil-filled MP-models, these are filled with an eco-friendly solid resin which does not only make them safe against leakage of liquids but also insensitive to the shocks and vibrations common in traction applications. The same applies to their robust plastic insulators.
Using selected low-loss, self-healing polypropylene films and sophisticated manufacturing techniques such as high-vacuum drying and special coating patterns, the best of ELECTRONICON™s design expertise and highest care in manufacturing have been spent to prepare these capacitors for your most demanding applications, and toughest ambient conditions.
Our long-life MKP UHDTM contain three delta-switched capacitor elements of short height and large diameter. The optimized combination of winding length, film size, and winding geometry substantially reduces inherent power losses and allows us to achieve highest surge and rms current ratings as well as an overvoltage strength and switching stability which before would have been known only of impregnated paper capacitors. An MKP UHD™ handles up to 250% of its rated current and current surges of 400 x IN. The permitted operating temperatures range from -40°C up to 70°C maximum temperature (average over 24 hours: 60°C).

The RCDC ACC is designed with optimized key sections and equipment to guarantee a maximized efficiency. The steam flows from the turbine into a steam duct and several manifolds to reach the fin tube bundles. The RCDC ACC is designed in streets sitting on a steel leg system (under structure) raised to allow proper air intake into the forced draft modules of A-shape steelframes supporting the fin tube bundles. Once condensed the steam is collected by gravity into a condensate tank located underneath or in the close vicinity of the ACC. The efficiency of the steam condensation process is guaranteed using appropriate and reliable vacuum units. RCDC guarantee the complete system and undertake integral studies related to the ducts and manifolds, the steel leg system and the pipe work and other special studies as appropriate.

MCD is designed for the discharging of condensate or any other non aggressive fluid from compressed air system. In order to prevent condensate from re-entering in the airstream we recommend controlling the condensate level in filter bowl, which requires an automatic drain trap. MCD is easy to install on the filter housing. MCD can be used in variety of applications.
