GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV-F conrol cables have been successfully used or many decades as measuring and control cables in tool machinery, plant installation, power stations and in data equipment. GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV5-F control cables are used for forced movements in dry, moist and wet rooms (also water-oil-mixtures) but not suitable for outdoor. Extremely flexible, the GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV5-F control cables are particulary suitable for laying where there is free movement. Mainly suitable for dry, damp or wet interiors, especially in industrial environments at medium mechanical stress. Outdoor use with UV-protection only and in observance of the temperature ranges. Suitable for free, not continously returning movement without tensile stress or compulsory guidance as well as for fixed laying. GLOBALFLEX®-COLD is mainly used for cold-flexible applications due to cold-resistance up to -30°C.

This cable has been manufactured for audio engineering only but these cables are also suitable in areas of houshold appliances such as very flexible network-connecting cable appliances. GLOBALFLEX®-SOFT is very ductile and is very easy to handle due to the improved talcum effect. The outer sheath is lead-free and offers contitional abrasion as well as conditional oil and UV-resistance.

Initiator cables, also referred to as sensor/actuator cables, connect control units and different sensors, or, in the case of reversal of the measurement principle, actuators. Frequently used abbreviations include ini or ini cable (plural: inis). Sensor or measurement transducers transform physical quantities such as rotation, speed, distance or length into analogue electric impulses. In the case of an actuator, the measured electric current (symbol: I, unit: ampere; A) or voltage (symbol: U, unit: volt; V) is transformed into temperature, pressure or torque. The connection cable consists of at least three cores with a small cross-section of between 0.14mm² and 0.34mm². In the simplest case, two cores are required for supplying the voltage, while the last core transmits an I/O signal. Fast assembly and perfect organisation Modern machines contain countless power, data and control cables, along with pneumatic hoses. In large systems, the total length of these can quickly add up to several thousand metres. Cable channels make it easier to organise and assemble these cables. The BLOCAN® cable channel system made from anodised aluminium impresses not only with its attractive design, but also through a multitude of well thought out details, which offer the customer considerable added value and greatly facilitate their work. The cable channels in sizes 40, 40x20, 40x80, 80x40 and 80x80 can be supplied as 6 metre bars or cut to length. They are also available with mounting holes, which is a new feature for aluminium cable channels. These can be very quickly attached to a BLOCAN® profile slot by means of a pivoting mounting clip.
