Ideal for water saving maintaining a high efficiency. All operations are managed by PLC with the possibility of remote management in “Industry 4.0” mode. Suitable for both industrial and HVAC fields of application. The adiabatic cooler, sometimes called adiabatic dry cooler or dry cooler with adiabatic pre-coolers, is designed to work with both air and water, with particular attention to efficiency. The external air is used to cool the liquid during dry operation and it is pre-cooled only in hot periods with wetting cycles of about 15 seconds during adiabatic operation (“adiabatic pre-cooling”).

CLEAN PROCESS WATER WITH GWK KU-PLANTS Water is one of the key elements in our daily life. It is a supplier of the most various requirements, also in the area of technical and mechanical production. Water is an excellent cooling medium. ku-plants from gwk utilise the cooling energy provided by water to carry away heat from production machines in the most troublefree and cost effective way possible. Removing side effects Fresh water from a well, from rivers and from other surface reservoirs is always saturated with oxygen and includes a large number of minerals and suspended particles which can block up the cooling channels in production units through corrosion or by producing deposits. ku-plants from gwk do not allow such problems to arise. A plate-type heat exchanger made of stainless steel separates the clean closed circuit that is used to cool the production from the natural fresh water circuit that is contaminated with all kinds of impurities.

A complete centralised cooling plant, including the required peripherals, can be set up in the absolute shortest possible time at the subsequent place of installation and is immediately ready for use by means of prefabrication and installation in a container. This way, the otherwise high investments for an operating building, the costs for installation and start-up of the plant are reduced. Container cooling plants almost have no limitations in terms of their capacity and variety of possible combinations. They are supplemented by peripheral systems such as water treatment and water preparation systems or compressed air compressors. Every industrial production requires energy in order to make products. Often, electrical or primary energy is induced as heat, used for operation and must then be dissipated, converted or destroyed. Our gwk process engineers analyse and calculate production processes and the overall thermal periphery with the objective of lowering the necessary energy by means of energy recycling, of reducing the energy requirement at the individual stations, of converting energy or using it several times and dissipating it sensibly. The shrink tunnel, equipped with temperature adjustments, height and speed, is incorporated in order to make the machine compact and versatile, suitable for series production. The thermal incinerator (TI for short) is a system which converts gas or vaporous pollutants found in exhaust gas into non-polluting compounds by way of direct combustion. This machine is characterized by: The thermal incinerator (TI for short) is a proven and robust plant for the conversion of organic pollutants (VOCs, etc.). Today it is used especially for processes which involve high exposure to condensation or dust, or for specialized solutions requiring greater heat recovery potential. An example of this would be exhaust gases containing plasticizers or siloxane. The modular design of the combustion chamber and heat exchanger especially is conducive to servicing and cleaning compared to other designs. The polluted air is forced by means of a centrifugal fan into the tube bundle heat exchanger where it circulates around the tube bundle in a cross-current fashion. The heat exchanger can be designed for an efficiency of up to 70%. The pollutants are converted in the combustion chamber at a temperature of around 760 °C. After extensive heat transfer to the raw noxious gas, the cooled clean gas leaves the plant, where it can be supplied to various heat recovery systems (or a combination of several). The auxiliary burners can be operated with natural gas or propane or light heating oil.
